This is random but I would LOVE a video about toon animations, specifically the walking animation. I think In 2010, it had changed from what it was from 2003. Then Toontown Rewritten changed it back somewhere I think around 2019, then now Toontown Rewritten has it half the old toon walk animation, and half the newer walk animation. I think the old toon walking/running animation was so much better, less stiff, and more toony.
the obvious recycle of the "drinking water" pose for the chomp attack has always bothered me for some reason. the fact that the 2003 version uses the other part of the level 2 squirt animation seems so lazy on the developers' part, specifically because it looks like an easy fix but remained broken until the game ended
@@Knapperoni True however please remember it was made in 2000 (released in 2003) with a VERY limited budget while having to be ultra optimized to be small enough while still running well on computers at the time
I remember when TTR changed chomp's animation, at first I thought that was bugged, but overtime I realized the animation made more sense then the drinking one. Oddly I still miss it in a way, since that's the animation I pretty much saw my entirety of TTO.
What's even more interesting is that they created sound effects for bite and chomp. Both of which match the animation well. They'd have to tweak the sound effect if they fix the animation for the teeth.
If you fight a Loan Shark in TTR, you'll notice the teeth don't chatter upon landing on the Toon, and the sound effect matches this. TTR never fixed the animation and kept the sound effect to match the bugged animation.
Please actually go fight a Loan Shark and wait til you get hit by bite or chomp. You will clearly see that as the teeth are approaching you, upon impact they will stop chattering. TTR specifically created the sound without this in mind, so the animation has not been fixed.
May I ask you where you found the French translation of the game and on which version of the game did you implement it? I'd love to play with it and remember some of the texts! (I’m french that’s why 😭)
French build can be played on Toontown Archive. It's their 2006 build called storm cloud. On the launcher there's a gear in the top right corner you can press next to your username. Check the box that says "Use native client language" then press OK and hit play now. The game will be in French. toontownarchive.com/ They have a discord too if you have any questions or need help

Let's hope servers like TTR fix this. From what I remember, they fixed the Toon animation for Chomp but not the teeth themselves.

where did you get the scripts for tto hacks and the dll files? ive never been able to find them
my friend fixed the old freshollie hacks to work on 2013 sunrise, may make a video on how to set that up sometime
