The Piko ICE 3 is a hobby range model. Meaning it is quite a bit cheaper and less detailed than the trains from the Piko Expert range. That's also why the interior, driver and pantographs are not as detailed as on the Ice 4. And also the reason the front flap hiding the couplings isn't openable. I'd agree that for about 200€ it's a good deal, especially when you have a look at the base pack ICE 4 with 4 carriages and a price tag of about 500€. There are also separately sold add on coaches to make the train a realistic 8 coach train. Maybe you'd want to look into that too.....
An EMU train is a Electrical Multiple Unit. Mostly 3 cars form the basic unit of a train and then the train can be made in multiples of 3 like 6,9,12 In one unit there is a motor car and 2 trailer cars. Or someone will have 2 motor cars and one trailer car. Some EMUs consist of 1 motor car and 1 trailer car like the trains in Delhi Metro The Japanese E5 is the most efficient train and is an EMU. All the coaches have a motor unit. E5 consumes least energy to move a passenger per km (assuming average weight per passenger) So basically a locomotive train has a locomotive to either push or pull,, or 2 locomotives to push and pull. An EMU train has multiple powered axles to achieve higher acceleration and quicker braking. A single operator from the front cabin controls the EMU via connected controls
Happy to see passenger trains and German trains on the channel! My mom is from Germany so I have tried to collect several Germain trains. I have an HO ICE set and the red DB double decker train as well. I also have a Mehano TGV that I got recently. Your channel is one of my favorites. Thank you! What do you use to film the video?
Love your unboxing videos! Got me back into model trains. I use n scale but it’s great to see what’s out there. I’ve bought more Rivet Counter scaletrains then I’d like to mention because of your videos lol
Piko hobby lineup is kinda base for the model trains. There are some accuracies, but it is made to be reliable for the beginners and kids, so there is less details
Wow, what an incredible unboxing! 🚄 The Piko HO Scale ICE 3 looks stunning, and it's always exciting to see such detailed models of iconic high-speed trains. 🤩 I love the comparison with the Bachmann Amtrak Acela Express-really shows the unique features of each model. How do they stack up in terms of max speed on your test track? Which one do you find more realistic in operation? Thanks for this detailed review, it’s perfect for train enthusiasts looking to expand their collections! 👍
Now that's just not true. As far as I'm aware, not a single first or second generation ICE 3 has been retired, and a third generation of ICE 3 has been ordered. Much of the ICE 1 fleet is getting refurbished, as opposed to the ICE 2 fleet, which while still running, is set to retire before the ICE 1 in the not too distant future. These days the new ICE 4, which is still being delivered, has become the most common ICE, but only because there's so many of them.
I have a Märklin ICE 2 at home and i really like it, i want more trains and track, but Märklin is really expensive, so I want to sell all my trains (I only have a steam loco and the ICE 2) and after I sold my trains, I am going to buy cheaper, first as start mehano TGV, because I love the TGV's, since I was 6 or something.
Do you know that Amtrak used/use the ICE 1 and could you make a Unboxing with the PIKO or Roco Railjet because ITS an train from Austria and ITS my Favorit train
Hi, could you tell me how to disconnect the individual sections of this train? Because I don't want to break something. I managed to connect, but I don't know how to disconnect. Help please.

Hello, I am a new train enthusiast, can someone please tell me the difference between an emu and a locomotive?

80% of ICE trains are ICE 2 these days. They are very common. The ICE 3 has gotten quite rare.

I have a loco for you. Its a GP-40 from Roco but i dont knoe if its still available. I got it from a kind of flea market
I honestly think the ice 4 is beber but I do love the ice 3
*Better*
cool train
Can you Sell that train to me
I will never forget that you called my favourite rail vehicle an egg.
How do you get the train
im from germany and my school principal name is tim
bachmann like bachman amtrak acela express
I would recommend getting an AEM-7 (they’re great engines) And maybe a U.S. steam loco
There is add on coaches for the Ice 3 so i think you should get them so it becomes lounger and more realistic
4:48 That reminds me that there was once a tour with an ice1 along the northern corridor and the rest of usa
I'm German and that train just makes me feel like home btw I still live in Germany
