Very cool. I lived in the same neighborhood as Bradford years ago and used to chat with him and go to their shows when they were playing at dive clubs in Atlanta. He got me backstage to meet Laetitia after a Lab show. Really creative guy.
Performing BOTH Walkabout with Panda and this is a once in a lifetime event. They were all at desert daze and all performing on the same day, I doubt they'll all ever be in the same place again. I was one of the lucky few in this crowd; we were spoiled children. The first day, and the whole festival, was a whale of a time.
Brandon Pernice Cheers to that. I was telling everyone beforehand that they were all there on the same day and the math was in our favor for these collaborations to come together, and if they didn’t that it would be a colossal missed opportunity. But a part of me didn’t believe it would actually happen. The moral of this story: don’t doubt the unfathomable power of Desert Daze.
You're a fucking hero for recording this once in a lifetime performance. I was sick with the flu and was so pissed I had to sell my ticket. This was the whole reason I wanted to go so badly
Besides this being one of the all time great jams, it also contains an all time great lyric: “I looked in the dirt and found wisdom is learnt through a costly process of success and failure.”
the gift of the tamborine is now a favorite all-time live performance moment for me. Also this is one of the rare songs that (alongside Echoes by Pink Floyd and Skating in The Moonshine by Sally Shapiro), is very easy for me to put in my personal favorite of all time slot, irrespective of genre. Laetitia is such a tremendous presence on anything she touches it's kind of scary lol, ugggggghhhhhhhh!!!! thanks so much for capturing and uploading 'em' , YOU DA REAL MVP *insert crying Kevin Durant gif* !!!
When they were sound checking this I thought they had started early and I was missing it and I ran from camp. Was the song I was most looking forward to hearing. Whew
Andrew S I’m afraid not. :-( When I heard them start this loop in sound check, I was so overjoyed that I may as well have forgotten what planet I was on.
probably one of the greatest moments in music history?

A perfect song about accepting you're not perfect, performed imperfectly. They powered along despite messing up. Wisdom is learnt
I just heard this for the first time ! I was hooked to the fresh sound .. I heard it on sxmu.. why I love indy music
Nunca pensé escuchar una de mis canciones favoritas en vivo.
Whoever recorded and uploaded, thank you❤️

two good artists improvising on top of a mistake, and having fun. Incredible!

She's a good lass.

I'd love to see them on the same bill with beach house , I would stuff my pocket with weed and go.
I’m so curious what they must have been whispering to each other. Anyone else? Also, Laetitia forever.
Did you also happen to film walkabout with panda bear?
Andrew S I’m afraid not. :-( When I heard them start this loop in sound check, I was so overjoyed that I may as well have forgotten what planet I was on.
who's the guitar player?
The question of the century.
se equivocó uu
tremendo mal
I love Letitia, but this is a lame, tuneless dirge.
