In the modern era back-to-back has only happened twice, Duke 91-92 and Florida 2006-2007 by a great coach and a really good coach. So why would anyone besides Hurley, which is only his hype, believe a three-peat would be possible in college basketball today with the transfer portal and NIL money moving players from team to team that is creating different championship caliber teams every year? If anyone watched Auburn dismantle Memphis in Maui then you've seen the effect of the transfer portal and NIL money real time because they both have shaped their teams using them. No-one will ever three-peat again because of it. Uconn doesn't have the talent to win this year, but if next years recruits actually arrive, they'll have a chance to go deep into the tourney.

The refs stunk,especially in the Memphis game. There is a lot of talent here,and a lot of new faces. Give it time. Not saying they win another natty,but they will be alright as the season progresses.

The Colorado player flipped the ball to the rim over his back like he was playing horse just so he didn’t lose the possession out of bounds and it happened to go in.

Never count them out. Clearly, they aren't as strong as last year at this point in the season. If Reed and Johnson can learn to stop fouling....that's half way there. Then get the guards into a better flow. Hurley still has to get the guards and centers set. Call me in February.

uconn doesnt play their great defense till the ncaa tournament starts, they got blown out during the regular season last year and the year before that too and still won it all, so i wouldnt go by any games that happen during the season, no team has been able to even challenge uconn in the ncaa tournament the last 2 years. so i won't doubt uconn till i see them lose in the ncaa tournament.
