Length in terms of lambda means to express the ratio of length divided by lambda, l/lambda. First, solve for lambda and the answer will be some number in SI units, like 10 cm. Then, express lambda for 1 cm, rather than 10 cm, as lambda/10 = 1 cm. Assalam o alaikum,how can we draw a lamda value from a given length even though clock wise or anti clock wise ,,, Is we subtract or adding lamda value, please guid ??
Lambda can be calculated from frequency. Length should get normalized in terms of lambda. Eg. If length is 5cm. Frequency is 3Ghz, then lambda = c/f = 10cm. Then length = (5/10) lambda = 0.5 lambda. Towards the generator is clockwise and towards the load is anticlockwise.

4:54 drawing line from point you have chosen on the circle to the scales below is wrong. You draw a line from the origin to the point on the circle and then measure this line length with ruler. Place this length onto the scale below and this would be your real reflection coeff value from below scale.

Sir in step 3 we take c as 3*10^8 not 10^10
as speed of light in vaccum we take c=3*10^8
In cm, it is 3×10^10 dear
Isn't VSWR equal to 2.3?
How did you get the 10cm? I still don't get that part
C = 3 × 10^8 and F = 3 × 10^9 Hz.
So lamba = C/F = 0.1m = 10cm

Assalam o alaikum,how can we draw a lamda value from a given length even though clock wise or anti clock wise ,,,
Is we subtract or adding lamda value, please guid ??
Lambda can be calculated from frequency.
Length should get normalized in terms of lambda.
Eg. If length is 5cm. Frequency is 3Ghz, then lambda = c/f = 10cm.
Then length = (5/10) lambda = 0.5 lambda.
Towards the generator is clockwise and towards the load is anticlockwise.

So, 1cm= Lemda/10.
Now, length=2.5cm or 2.5x1cm.
Put 1cm value here.
Length=2.5xLemda/10
Length=0.25Lembda
10 cm. .....= 1 Lambda
1cm ........=1/10 Lambda
2.5 cm.......=2.5/10 Lambda
=0.25 Lambda
