In case of remaining questions and if there is no Rabbi near where you live, a well trained pastor coming from a really good bible school should be able to help you too. Although from the financial point of view things seem to get rather worse than better nowadays, I also believe as Cpt. Dale Black always says, that with God nothing is impossible. Also once I'm in Yeroushalayim I hope to find out quickly to which synagogue our beloved sister Elihana is attending. I absolutely wanna hear her live singing the Lords praise in worship and in truth. I still remember the first time I discovered Elihana on TH-cam: I had the Blues at that time, but a really deep one, as blue that I was surfing in TH-cam to find the Cantor Khayim Yisrael singing Tehilim 130 (Mi ma amaqim...) on TH-cam, but whatever went wrong, I don't know why, instead of finding him, I stumbled by chance (not really by chance, rather by God's great grace, it happened to me that I rediscovered what Elihana's name means in Hebrew: my God is grace! ;-)) upon Elihana singing Tehilim 146 like I have never heard anybody intonate it before... I was stunned and shocked by fascination to see this young Lady as cute as my own wife without glasses, hearing her sing this prayer with a voice touching me so deeply in my heart that she reached the ground of it almost immediately. She was so lovely, so full of Gods love pouring it into my deepest blues, my soul and my heart, it was quite a revelation of Gods love and grace in sung form. Hallelu et Adonay kol goyim! (Tehilim 117) I had the rim of my eyes flooded (azoy mir loyft glaykh dos Wosr oys di oygn) but not from the blues, no, no, but rather from the relief of it! Elihana has this special timbre (sorry, I'm french and I just can't find the english word for timbre in my brain although I'm quite good in English (credits to AFN and Cathy Casoms 4-hrs lasting every Shabbat in the afternoon... ;-) ), but it means this inner shivering of respect before Ha Shem, which her voice expresses, you know what I mean, I presume), this shivering in her voice which produces a shivering echo in your own voice when you cannot do else than to start singing Tehilim with her. I like reading the Tehilim as it's is comforting, but I love intonating them with Elihana, that is not only comforting but even energizing and I hope that one happy day the Lord will grant me the grace to hear her singing Tehilim 117 too. I would so much love to talk to her after worshipping about where she learned intonating the Tehilim as she does and from whom. Blessed be the one who discovered her and blessed be her teacher who trained her talent with grace and love from above! You cannot find a single Cantor on earth intonating or singing the Tehilim so beautyfull and so, let's say, feeding you with love and energy and hope, directly from the heart of God as Elihana does. To all those who are not able to read the holy scriptures I whish they could hear and learn them sung by Elihana! Blessed is the brother who could afford the ring she's wearing. May the Lord our Saviour bless her, the city where she lives, their sons and the sons of their sons le 'Olam va ed! Shalom Emily, in case you understand spanish, there is a site called Curso Alef where you can learn Hebrew online. Try this, really, I highly recommend to learn Hebrew (and even if it would be just to be more easily able to sing with Elihana along her wonderful intonations of Tehilim and those of Ofra Haza … ;-)).
Although in the meantime I'm afraid I will never reach the end of learning Hebrew, I can testify that every little vocabulary helping me to understand the original text of the Tehilim and of all the ancient holy scriptures is worth repeating it until it sticks firmly to my memory.
Take Khuzpe, it's never too late to learn some new blessing words more!
In case of remaining questions and if there is no Rabbi near where you live, a well trained pastor coming from a really good bible school should be able to help you too.

Although from the financial point of view things seem to get rather worse than better nowadays, I also believe as Cpt. Dale Black always says, that with God nothing is impossible. Also once I'm in Yeroushalayim I hope to find out quickly to which synagogue our beloved sister Elihana is attending. I absolutely wanna hear her live singing the Lords praise in worship and in truth.
I still remember the first time I discovered Elihana on TH-cam:
I had the Blues at that time, but a really deep one, as blue that I was surfing in TH-cam to find the Cantor Khayim Yisrael singing Tehilim 130 (Mi ma amaqim...) on TH-cam, but whatever went wrong, I don't know why, instead of finding him, I stumbled by chance (not really by chance, rather by God's great grace, it happened to me that I rediscovered what Elihana's name means in Hebrew: my God is grace! ;-)) upon Elihana singing Tehilim 146 like I have never heard anybody intonate it before...
I was stunned and shocked by fascination to see this young Lady as cute as my own wife without glasses, hearing her sing this prayer with a voice touching me so deeply in my heart that she reached the ground of it almost immediately. She was so lovely, so full of Gods love pouring it into my deepest blues, my soul and my heart, it was quite a revelation of Gods love and grace in sung form. Hallelu et Adonay kol goyim! (Tehilim 117)
I had the rim of my eyes flooded (azoy mir loyft glaykh dos Wosr oys di oygn) but not from the blues, no, no, but rather from the relief of it!
Elihana has this special timbre (sorry, I'm french and I just can't find the english word for timbre in my brain although I'm quite good in English (credits to AFN and Cathy Casoms 4-hrs lasting every Shabbat in the afternoon... ;-) ), but it means this inner shivering of respect before Ha Shem, which her voice expresses, you know what I mean, I presume), this shivering in her voice which produces a shivering echo in your own voice when you cannot do else than to start singing Tehilim with her.
I couldn't get enough, I heard and sang it again and again and again and finally I noticed that I didn't need to find the video with Khayim Yisrael intonating Tehilim 130 any more cause I felt, my inner healing had already begun with Elihana singing Tehilim 146. I was amazed and I still am...
This one and consequently the song Yeshuati still are my favourites among her songs. I like reading the Tehilim as it's is comforting, but I love intonating them with Elihana, that is not only comforting but even energizing and I hope that one happy day the Lord will grant me the grace to hear her singing Tehilim 117 too.
I would so much love to talk to her after worshipping about where she learned intonating the Tehilim as she does and from whom.
Blessed be the one who discovered her and blessed be her teacher who trained her talent with grace and love from above!
You cannot find a single Cantor on earth intonating or singing the Tehilim so beautyfull and so, let's say, feeding you with love and energy and hope, directly from the heart of God as Elihana does.
