Hello guys and girls. I'm a french guy but I spent several years in the USA. (GA). I was amazed by the US. So many incredible things to see and the people I met in the US were really great and nice people. But one thing that surprised me in the US is your grocery stores. I was imagining them at least as huge and big as the ones we have in france. Actually they aren't. I think it comes from a different way of shopping and also from a different way of considering the importance of "cooking". I hope to come back soon in the US.
magoryn I love how easy it is to get fresh veggies in France! I do appreciate the smaller grocery stores scattered throughout the city in France. I wish we had quick ones like this in the US!

Bonjour! The supermarket is called Carrefour and it is warehouse style of shopping. Similar to Costco in the States. Thus the vastness and the wide range of goods. France is well known for their markets so if you want to walk around in foodie haven, definitely try those! Have a lovely vacation!
