36:13 if you’d used the goat, sacrificed the bee to play the goat, played the bifurcated strike wolf, and then used the fan-8 damage wouldve tipped the scales and won you the match. I don’t think Leshy messes with your run any further than the angler…but I don’t quite remember! Happy you’re playing Inscryption again! I hope you check out Kaycee’s mod, it’s really great.
that may have been the optimal play in that moment but that still wouldn't have gotten him through that fight. What would have done it was to get the strange larva instead of the geck and stall first phase of angler until mothman.
@@bakuwinthro8926 I thought he was at the second phase of angler at the point I timestamped, was I off? The third candle for bosses is only for Leshy/the Limoncello guy whose name I’m forgetting in the base game
@audeng8485 The timestamp was correct. This is a fixed event in that first playthrough. If you know that ahead of time, you can prep to try and beat it. I don't think all of the card rng is fixed so you can't always use what I described, but DKB's run might have gone further if he got slightly different cards.
oh my gosh i'm so happy to see this upload! i got into your content from buckshot roulette, obviously, which i actually only gave a chance because it reminded me of inscryption! obviously it did not disappoint, but it's so cool to see this go full circle for me lol can't wait to give this a proper watch!
@@scranreview3282 best way I can describe it with no spoilers is a horror roguelite deck builder, it's highly focused on story, and switches up mechanics every main "act" (but retains the general card play), it also has some really cool ARG stuff that goes waaaay deeper than I thought it would. It also has an ascension mode that gives the game tons of replayability. If you watched this video on it and thought it was cool I recommend checking it out for sure :)
random chance deck builder type o deal. Its like if you have the random equipment of buckshot roulette mixed with the card playstyle of magic the gathering or clash royale@@scranreview3282
@@scranreview3282I mean you're Watching a video on it, but regardless I will mention that while this form of Inscryption is considered "Act 1" of the game's story, there was an official update called: "Kaycee's Mod" (lore is why it's called a mod, but it's already in the game since it's an update) that makes Act 1 infinite. I really recommend Inscryption, and would recommend it for Kaycee's mod alone it is so much fun with what it adds to Act 1.
Never really watched vids when this a bit more popular, but DKB has been chill to have on the second monitor so congratz! you finally got me to watch this game.
Watching you play games like this is so fun, it’s really cool seeing how you maximize everything in the run! You should definitely continue playing through the game!
All around great playing DKB. it's unfortunate that you have to visit the fires around 3-4 times before the mechanic where you can use the bonfire fire multiple times is introduced. I haven't tested to see if normal inscription's first few bonfires actually work as a sacking tool for high point cards like the bear. It's always fun to see other people's playstyle with games like this especially because we play the game so differently. Your videos have been a joy DKB keep it up.
I've actually never gotten into Inscryption - I've been meaning to for years; didn't know you had content of it! I love your style and your humour you bring to your BSR content, so I'll have to dig back into your older stuff to check it out!
Inscryption made me cry the first time I played it. To this day its the only video game thats made me cry. Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time
I know this didn't get nearly as much views as your buckshot roulette streams, but i would love to see some more inscryption streams in the near future.
I shit you not, I was thinking about you playing Inscryption before I went to work today and now I get home and you suddenly upload an Inscryption video. Thank you Delightful Kissboy, you live up to the name
Just found your channel from your more recent buckshot roulette videos and was wondering if you've played at all "Kaycee's Mod" (it was an update to the game, its not a mod, there's lore reasons why its called Kaycee's mod) If you haven't whenever you get the chance to play it i highly recommend it, because some of my favorite cards, Sigils, and Items were added specifically in that mode.
At 59:47 you could have sacked the stoat and DKB to kill off the adder with the wolf, then play DKB on the next turn to deal a whopping 7 dmg and 6 overkill dmg- though I guess at that point in time you weren't too worried about getting teeth for the pelts so it makes sense. I'm just a greedy little rat though who likes getting pelts to use for later
@@delightfulkissboy8926 I do know that at some point you can bring your pelts to the mycologist and sew them together to get beefier cards from the trader later down the road, that's what I'd use them for. Otherwise they're just an extra line of defense if my deck is total dogshit
I disagree with a lot of your opinions on what is bad. The larva is amazing. packrat is great as items carry over between rounds. this means you are free to spam items and then just use packrat to rebuild them. Twin attack is good. submerge.. is indeed crap. I mean it has its uses probably for like a snake.
Yeah, the packrat sigil has incredible potential. I'm a new viewer but he seems like the kind of guy that would avoid it simply because it has POTENTIAL, instead of guaranteed value (and the packrat itself is just okay). Imo items almost always vastly tip the game in your favor, but I can see people arguing for a more reliable, if less exciting, choice.
Getting a fan against a lot of mighty leap enemies (phase 1 trapper), squirrel/boulder/frozen possum when you have a full board or need to block flyers, pliers when you need to tip more than 1, etc. Course, on the other hand, you could get an hourglass or scissors. And all those items I listed above are usually more useful than not
@@alexhughes4683 The sometimes sad truth is that the best things in strategy games are the thing that give assured value. In this case no the packrat sigil is indeed op. even aside how strong it is the sigil is very easy to set up. One thing I agree with him on though is this game has a serious issue with grabbing more cards being a punishment. sort of. using busted strategies like in this video and the punishment is not a loss but delaying the inevitable win.
Your oroboros doesn't even oneshot the moon smh.
You saying this spoiled him beating this on the 2nd try
I just realised that the font used in the irl video clips is the font that minecraft used and that’s why it’s familiar.

Though differences in strategies and playstyle are some of the reasons I watch videos like this.
Doesn't the fan just give your cards the flying sigil for one turn? If so that wouldn't work because the bears leshy spawns also block flying sigils.
Who's here in hopes that they can delightfully kiss this boy?

I was kind of hoping you'd show a card game on the channel, Inscryption definitely came to mind. Good to see it.
I never heard of this game and now I’m very interested in it keep the series going
Would like to see more of this!

i love your videos sm your voice is so relaxing
Its a bit unfair of me to like a bunch of your videos and not sub, so, I finally did it.
This vand is definitely interesting, I might get this game. I been loving your vids btw

Hey its my boy, Delightfull Kissboy :D
inscryption is so goated dude
Are you going to do the second part of the game too?
This dealer looks funny
I need more DKB content him swearing and saying shit is just too funny
i tought the devs who made inscyption made buckshot roulette
Hearing someone call a one blood card good was wild. Also Packrat is one of the best cards in the game.
this was a nostalgic game
Dont care what you're playing, I'll still watch it
Love a beefed-up ouroboros
Ugh I love this game. If you're interested in getting some more dynamic gameplay in act one definitely try out Kaycee's mod

Yeah, I tend to not buy pelts after I find a good wincon bc they'll just clog my deck, but I understand the urge to maximize teeth haha
