So, I'm really sorry, I didn't manage to properly perform a complete and perfect song. But I still feel I have to praise and encourage myself, because I think I already did my best. - Q: After "Shi Mian Mai Fu", a lot of the audience realised you started to smile less, and gave less reactions to whatever was going on on stage. Was it because you were still upset with your mistake? - Joey: I understand my biggest asset is my smile. But I really hope that people will still like me even when I don't smile. Back then, perhaps I was trying to be a different version of myself, so I tried not smiling so often. Then I realised that since everyone started to like me because of my smile, that I should continue to be who I was from the start. - I feel like this was my mistake. After "Shi Mian Mai Fu", everyone realised I smiled less. That moment I was just focused on trying to change myself. Even people around me said that whenever there was a really hard dance, then there would never be a smile on my face. The mistake I made in "Shi Mian Mai Fu" really impacted me. I knew I did wrong, but there was no way to fix it at that point. - In "R&B All Night", I made another mistake, where I was a beat slower. So I felt really sorry towards the people who support me. And that really affected me. I am really afraid of disappointing the people who support me. However, I forgot that the reason people started to support me was because of my positivity, determination and smile. So I kept contemplating what I should do. I knew I had to make up for my mistakes, but not dwell on it. I should evaluate what I did wrong, fix my flaws, and continue working hard so everyone can see my improvement and potential. After that, I decided to challenge my attitude and promise everyone that I will do an even better job during the stage, and be myself. - During "R&B All Night", I felt like I improved as well. Because for the entire dance, I was on beat. My team mates also said that we danced very in sync. So I was pretty touched by all the praise and support we received. - When it came to "Qiao Qiao", I didn't want a sweet song again. I wanted something sexy. When Kun PD was going to pass me the envelope, he said "I'm quite curious what you got", so he opened to have a look and passed it to me. When he gave it to me, he told me "You take care" (Meaning 'all the best'). Then I was like "What the heck". When I opened the envelope and it said "Qiao Qiao", I was quite sad, like why "Qiao Qiao"? Why another sweet song? Then I thought, perhaps this is my image to the audience, and they hope for me to continue being sweet, and to continue smiling. So I decided to be me again, to let everyone see the revived and smiling Cai Cai. After listening to "Qiao Qiao", I finally understood why the audience picked this song for me. The person who sang the same part as me was Luna Qin (Qin Niu Zheng Wei). After working hard together, being eliminated in the end really made us sad.
