Bruh !!!!!!! By far the BEST and simple answer I ever got off YT....... Followed what u did and less than 3 minutes I had my busted switch out.....Drove to a local pick and pull junk yard with a simple philip head screw driver popped of the part and in and out of junk yard in 10mins...Replaced it in parking lot and drove home......Best instructional vid EVER...thank bro.....next I'm replacing the trunk...
I had a little trouble as the video was a little jumpy and I am a novice, but your explanation of the procedure was great! Thank you for the informative video.
+Baxrok2 yes I had a bad spark plug I know I've been driving this thing for months and it still hasn't cleared so guess it'll have to be cleared by a scan tool . Im just tickled now that my turn signal works lol .Thanks for watching
+Ryan Lunde thanks for watching , I was surprised myself in how easily it came out with very little removal. And we'll worth the fix to not have that annoying blinker left on . I would say the only tricky part would be just being careful to not drop the tiny screws . Thanks again and good luck
+AndreW McgilL I'm glad the video was helpful , I was really surprised how simple the replacement was myself. I was at a salvage yard getting a few things when I spotted this blinker switch on a 2008 mazda 3 . I was glad to get it fixed and not have it annoyingly staying on after a turn . It's just much better when things work like they should ha . Thanks for watching
What causes them to fail is a piece breaks off of a part inside. Picture a small version of a paper towel roll with small attachments at each end. For some reason, the one on the right is prone to break off. When it breaks off, it isn't there to stop the signal. Just picture a small tube, maybe 2" long, with little caps on each end. When the cap breaks off, it doesn't make the contact with another piece to stop the signal from being on. And for some odd reason, it's always the right side that breaks.
Yes I was surprised at how easy this was to replace , usually my luck doesn't go that way. But after the fact I wondered why I had waited so long to replace it . Thanks for watching please like and subscribe
lol currently have an issue with my blinker switch. I hear random pieces of plasting jingling around sometimes. Right now I currently have to hold it down manually to do my left turn. In the past it fixed itself but I have no clue how..
Okay soo mine has a problem I can turn them on and they work but the dash doesn't show it and when I leave my lights on it doesn't make that noise next my brake light is on and I checked brake fueled it's good and the brakes are fine next the air bag Light is on and I changed the light and it's still and all the fuse are all good help please
+abraham Brenes I don't really have any information on this . I've heard of air module failures causing what you describe . It's located in the center console near E brake . However these need to be programmed also even if it was the issue . I've read of loose grounds shorts and possibly the fuse box under glove box pjb going on the fritz. Wish I could be of more help but I hope you get this figured out .
