As a Malaysian I used to sing the ''Majulah Singapura" back when I grew up & studied in my primary & Secondary school days. Age 15 I had to move back to my home country of Malaysia due to financial problems. Continuing study in Malaysia is kind a tough for me at that time as I need to comfort myself plus need to memorize "Negaraku" in school which is hard for me as I'm use to it 😅. But now I can sing both National Anthem & I'm proud to be a part of Singapore (1996-2005)
The children born in Singapore are very blessed. You guys have the most intelligent and open-minded people, a great culture, and the best education in the world. I'm very jealous even though I'm a proud French Canadian, I would love to visit your country. I heard nothing but great things from you guys since the 2000s.
Hi semua salam kenal saya anak melayu Singapura walaupun minority di sini (sekitar 13-15% ) kita masih berbahasa melayu masih berpegang pada agama Islam. Lagu kebangsaan dan military/drill commands memang dalam bahasa melayu sebagai simbolisme orang melayu itu diakui penduduk asal di SG. Walau begitu hakikatnya bahasa English itu boleh dikatakan bahasa utama rakyat SG yg sudah diajarkan sejak pertama masuk sekolah lagi dan menjadi lingua franca untuk kegiatan sehari-hari (contoh di sekolah, kerja)

I actually had to learn this in primary/secondary school in Singapore. Re-listening to it now 30 years later was nostalgic.

Beautiful National Anthem of Singapore 🇸🇬. I first came here in 1997. Then again in 2006, then again in 2022, and now 2023. I love it here!
When I was 5 we used to live in singapur and I used to sing this song every day then we moved to India and still can't forget the sweet memories
