Sorry im late to comment i was going to say you did that clutch!? But as i was typing you said it. I guess I should wait for the video to be over to comment. Keep up the great work and videos.
I think you would be OK with adding a disconnect in the height sensor harness, as long as it was a good quality, crimped terminal like a weatherpak or metri-pack. I added some on our Gerringhoff head because they ran the harness from the sensor all the way to the Headsight box. What a pain! I've never had an issue since doing it. If you have to fish wire through poly a lot, Magnepull has a magnetic roller and chain that might make the job easier. I use it for network cable installs, and it's a lifesaver! Thanks for the video! Good job as always!
To protect your hoods you can get a stainless steel plate that goes on their so the ears and stalks hit steel instead of plastic we did that and it was a lot cheaper than new hoods
Ive found making the holes larger so mice dont need to chew the wire to get in and out easier helps them not get ate. The best way is to route them on the underside instead of inside the snout
When you clipped that first pull wire short and didn't tie it off, I said to myself, "I've been there young grasshooper!" You didn't disappoint! "Roads in life are best traveled and not just read from a map." --Said someone smarter than me Enjoyed the content.
The reason we didn’t use those is because they are a couple hundred a row and make the head hard to sell, plus the poly start to wear out around the strips
… C-clamp a big piece of plywood to your loader bucket and create yourself some shade that’s portable… Set up some fans inside and outside… Get rid of the blue jeans and go to 2023 work pants…
Good job Carson.
8:57 ok ok, no contradiction 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍

We knew you could do it. I could tell the heat was working on you. Just keep the water jug handy, and don't be in a hurry.
I share your pain of bird poop we have the same problem with our boat, they never give up and I really do not like to clean that up!
I can't wait to see it back together and when combining begins!
You did fine, there is always a learning curve, when doing something for the first time.
Appreciate the good comment! I find I’m always slow, probably slower than most the first time I do something. The second time I can fly

it always takes a little longer the first time you do anything. You did a very good job.
If you are sweating profusely, I recommend hydrating with Gatorade! 😅

13:48 what really drives me up the wall is when guys use 12 13 and 14 mm 😂😂😅😅
I think there’s some company that makes a piece that bolts on to the snouts as a wear piece where yours is wearing out ?
Yep it’s a stainless wear strip. No reason to replace they poly. Highly unlikely you will wear the stainless out. They work good.

Easier if you had someone helping, excellent informative video, thank you.
Thanks for the comment and for watching!

I might need some help... what are 2023 work pants?
@@6thGenFarmerI think he means shorts. 🙂
😂@@tx-okfarmer
TrueWerk T1 pants etc…
You know you have been out in the sun too long when by the end of the video your face is the same color as you shirt.😂
😂, the sweat took the sunscreen right off
If moved inside shed, prolly done in a day, not three. 🤔
🗽🇺🇸🙏👌
Why isn’t your brother helping? We never see him!
He’s been busy walking corn fields! I hate walking through tall corn and he doesn’t like fixing so it’s a good trade off
Why is there no connector? Because the engineer who made it only saw this head on the monitor and never in real life.
Where's Tom thr cat at?!!!!
He’s at home, thought about bringing him for a day but he would be a pain to keep track of
