This Korean company also make a line of crisps along the same formula and I bought a few packs when I saw them in 7/11. I wish there was a warning on them to use rubber gloves and not touch any delicate body parts after eating them. Thanks for the laughs and braving them again haha, cheers ps try a Korean Chilli paste called Gochujang or something like that, great stuff.
I just had a bowl of Shin Ram Yun Korean noodles. You really need to add things to them to make them great. I add sliced shitake mushroom, blanched bean sprouts, finely chopped spring onion, fried fish tofu /fried spam/fried fish balls and a dash of sesame oil. That's how you will get them in the East. Eating them like this is like bread with no butter. Korean noodles are mostly spicy that's why they are the best!
I can feel the heat singeing my eyebrows from here - well done for seeing them through though to the end. It looked like agony! Have a glass of milk or beer to hand next time (if there is one), to alleviate the pain!

Just spotted this even though it's an old one. I get lots of instant noodles like these (different makes). Usually searingly hot and usually Korean. I love them but do them different - I keep a fair bit of liquid back so it's like a broth. I always eat noodles with chopsticks (forks are a waste of time) and eat some noodles then slurp broth from the bowl. As someone else commented, put either a fried egg on top or whisk the egg to make a small omelette. I worked for a Chinese takeaway and this is how staff there often ate noodles - it's really nice.
Gareth, I haven't tried these yet, but I did try the Carolina Reaper curry from Iceland you reviewed and recommended. I think it gave you some gut trouble afterwards, but I was fine, despite struggling a bit to finish it. Do these rate hotter, or about the same for heat?
Better you than me Gareth, i would have wimped out with a quarter of the sauce on them noodles.... Do another challenge by adding some of your home grown Habaneros to the mix... lol
Nice one Gareth! I'm going to try to find these at the Cash and Carry, as I like that stuff. I especially like "Part 1 - The Mouth Wipe" showing what you wiped off your lips. If I find some of those, I'm waiting for "Part 2 - The Bum Wipe" that will hopefully show us what came out of the other end, before I eat them.
I had this in 2020 and never again!! My lips and mouth burned all day long and were numb. I saw a chinese girl review them and she actually cried as she tried to finish 3 packs😱. They also do 3 X heat, imagine what that would do to you. I've never bought them again, you were braver than most👍😉

Been looking closely at your face and head yes they both turned red! I always chop noodles up with a fork before doing the water bit you get fork size bits rather than long lengths.
Ahm just posted on another video about these noodles and the challenge, and then this poppped up (YT algorythm at work). Looking forward to watching you take on these noodles. I couldn't finish the 2x spicy, but the normal spicy (Black packet) are ok. EDIT: Well done on finishing them.
@@BaldFoodieGuy 1x are hot enough! I use more water to make a soup as well so makes it even weaker but the soup is so nice with perfect heat! Add cheese too!

I am pretty sure that the chili extract will just be pure capsaicin which is what makes chilis hot.
