@helikopter6857 the issue here is the stark contrast between the 2 games, and it is VERY obvious that the wicket for the second game was SPECIALLY prepared.... you could choose to deny this fact and prosecute whatever point that suits your narrative, it won't change the aforementioned fact... have a great day

There is a huge difference between how the track behaved in the first and second innings. If SL had batted second, they would have been finished in no time. I think SL wouldn't have been able to chase 120 or 130 in the second innings on that track. Expect Fabian Allen to play in the next game if SL try something similar.

If anderson takes wickets in english swing condition that is telent. If stark stake wickets in aus bounce condition that is talant ok if indians batsman making hundreds in pure flat condition that is also telent. But sl apinnners take wickets in turn condition. Only lundians are blaming the pitches. Truth is they cant play with out flat condition. You seen that previus odi match agains srilanka and you will see that in against aus series 😂 and next most icc tournaments also in flat condition iam sure you will see that becouse icc chirman also lundian and love from srilanka to them who appreciate srilnaka's telent

This game was played on the same wicket as the last game. It had dried a bit so it turned a bit more but any international side should be able to adapt to these conditions. This was not in any way a "rank turner".

It was not a T20 surface, especially when its an evening game. Rovman Powell said the same thing in not so many words.
@@chubbychaser00izu It most certainly was a T20 surface. Neither Powell nor Chase should have said such nonsense. I love the Windies. They are a great team and my second favorite always and I hope they do better next time. I certainly hope they will nevr again lie instead of accepting they failed to adapt to a perfectly normal surface.
@@kerlyenai It had 3.8 degrees of turn compared to 1.8 degrees of turn in the first t20i. The Pakistan test match played on a used surface had 4.3 degrees of turn in the evening today which was a real Bunsen Burner. This one wasn't far off. It is not suited for t20 games, which are all about entertainment with easier strokeplay than this. Even modern one dayers wouldnt really be nice on surfaces like this but I did enjoy the India-SL one dayers that SL won. But definitely not nice for t20s. No, thank you.

Thats' the whole point of the game! If you don't want that then you don't like cricket. Fine by me. Just don't pretend that games only being played on flat or flatter tracks is for the good of the game. That's just utter nonsense and, to be quite frank, an insult to the sport.

@@kosala4929 yes, because otherwise when the world cup is in India (SL will co-host but the final will definitely be in India), these batsmen will struggle to get to competitive, forget winning totals on those absolute road like surfaces. This pitch in the first t20i was more of a balanced pitch, unlike in this second match where it had developed into a day 5 rank turner. SL will never win a t20wc unless they learn how to hit 200 plus regularly against international opposition and that can only happen if they play them at home on batting surfaces with home support.
