This is an important piece. A perfect depiction of how anxiety can smother you, especially in such a high-caliber sport as gymnastics!! I give the QUEEN Simone major props for this! Awesome, Simone!
This was phenomenal. (I went to the tour and saw her in Kansas City, MO in 2021. I also went to her tour this year in 2024 in Denver, CO. Both tours were fabulous and it was so fun to see the guys this year as part of the tour, but there was something super special about the whole message of her tour in 2021, including this piece with these 2 songs.💜)
Seeing that they made a whole piece about battling anxiety made me tear up a bit. Despite there being ~40 million people (or even more) in the U.S. that have anxiety, it’s constantly stigmatized or brushed under the rug. I’m glad it’s finally getting recognition as something that can fundamentally affect your life, especially in sports. I was a gymnast myself and I can personally attest that anxiety affected my gymnastics A LOT.
I've gone through the same thing, too, for at least 20 years now (well into my 40s, so it's definitely been stigmatized most of my life). My heart goes out to all those who suffer from anxiety. Hugs to you, dear. Stay strong, and my heart and prayers are with you, Simone, and all those who are going through this painful struggle I hope nobody else ever has to experience, especially alone. 🙏🏻❤️
Yes, yes, yes. I've heard the old speech "just get yourself together and get over it" over and over again my whole life!. I'm glad we have more visibility now thanks to these brave ladies.
This is perfect. The apex of their careers just getting to go all out and bounce with your friends and tell a story. How wonderful. I’m so happy for all of them. I’m saving this video for when I’m feeling down, because no one can be sad after watching all that joy tumble everywhere. 🐼♥️ 🌟 💯😊
Thank you for sharing. Much love to all who suffer with anxiety. I suffer from depression and thought this segment represents how it feels in the darkness with seemingly dark figures at every turn oppressing you. Love the switch up to, ‘Don’t you worry about a thing.’ ❤️
Bless you for sharing all of these videos!!! As someone who doesn't live in the States and is there for unable to attend any of the tour stops I am so very grateful ❤
The more I see the more anxious I get for the 8th. I have tickets for Houston. Can't wait!🔥🥰👏 How easy is it to pick out Chelsie and also Lori Hernandez with that gorgeous hair!🔥
Gymnastics has brought these wonderful gymnasts together, probably forever. They have made lasting friends, and beautiful memories to past on to their children and grandchildren! During the days of Olga Korbut and Nadia, it was a big deal if Americans won a Bronze. I’m so glad the U.S. has some of the best gymnasts in the world on a consistent basis. They will keep souring and, I’m glad the bad doctor is gone!!
Starting around 4:06 you get a great 👍 dose of the amazing CHELLSIE MEMMEL, World Champion in 2005 and Olympic Gymnast 🤸♂️ at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Chellsie (light skin with 2 braids) has her own TH-cam channel that chronicles her journey as a mother of two children, wife, elite level judge, working out at a very high level to compete at US Nationals in the Spring 2021. TOO 😎 COOL. “Chell Yeah!”
Don't worry bout a thing, little sunshine, you're a champion just because you exist, you're perfect, why try if you can give up? No worries, you're great, be fine. That's the type of message our generation LOVES to hear.
So cute! The gymnastics was way more in sync in this one. Staying on count would have made it look way cleaner but really that's just being picky because they are the BEST. I love the symbolism in this one. Strong badass girls!

Shilese is amazing and I really hope she keeps doing elite. And the color of those 2 piece sets are kinda ugly and it doesn’t look nice on the lighter skin girls
i think the whole tour is unprofessional sloppy and not worth it, everything ive seen has been cringe and the outfits and routines are horrible, its embarrasing actually
@@andream9470 Yea having fun mental heath and yadda yadda yadda but people are paying for this, it's not that they just walk in into the arena for free, at least those people deserve a decent show
She didn't quit on her country. She stepped back and trusted her teammates because she couldn't trust herself to do her skills right and not get injured.
This was meant to be fun… the reviews of the tour are amazing. I suggest that unless you were there… you don’t judge. You have no clue… but go ahead.. be negative. This is exactly the stuff they talk about at the show… people like you guys
Now please don't hate me but as a performing arts and entertainment manager, I was expecting something more choreograph and better. Just looks like everybody is doing their own thing. Hmm 😒
My thoughts exactly. When you charge people for tickets you should offer a quality performance in return. This looks like everyone is having fun but what happened to their standards. This is not perfection and hopefully not just a money grab.
@@marionartho It's not supposed to be "perfection". They're gymnasts, not performers, and the G.O.A.T tour was scheduled to start right after the Olympics, so it's not like they had time to practice fancy choreography...especially since some of the gymnasts aren't even American and are visiting from other countries! If you want to see "perfection", buy tickets to an international gymnastics competition. This is a tour with a focus on mental health with fans being able to see their favorite gymnasts doing some cool tricks and having fun. Stop being a hater.

Chellsie Memmel....just all smiles the whole time. Love that girl
Not Chellsie showing everyone up with three layout stepouts in a row! Love her!

Simone doing whips and Chellsie doing illusions, looks awesome!

Love love this song, made me think of that Disney movie Sing! Nice dance peice!
sing is not disney, it's illumination
Looks amazing come to Ireland 🇮🇪
The OG throwing down three illusion turns like it's nothing!
For her it isn't! She does those things on the beam after all.
Magnificent

That 1970s tv with static though. Interesting choice

What the heck is this?
Glad I didn’t waste money to see this…. Very underwhelming
I agree. Very boring. No one in sync either. Looks messy.
I was going to say it looks like no one knows what their doing and is rushed and sloppy. No one can dance either
It’s not clean but .I love it for the positive message that these girls are trying to send. The world needs more positivity.I appreciate it for that.
