The Yellow Route provides stunning elevated views of the bay and icefjord near Sermermiut, along with expansive vistas of the icebergs in Disko Bay. From the Old Heliport, the trail swiftly ascends, unveiling a panorama of icebergs drifting gracefully in the surrounding waters.
As the path winds along the coastal cliffs, it curves to the right, offering a dramatic perspective of the main waterway below. This crucial channel transports immense quantities of ice to the sea each year, ensuring that it is perpetually adorned with icebergs.
