I love the Goldbergs! I recently started watching the show probably March of 2018 and LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. I love how it revolves around the 80s! The 80s rule!

I am such a "Goldnerd" and live for this show and reruns... well that and sharing it with my babies (aka my smooshies) because there are many important lessons for my yummy baby sweeties to learn from the shows. I'm 3xcited about the spin off as well.

For me, The Goldbergs is the smartest TV comedy in many years. But, I agree with Jeff Garlin. The music on the show isn't the '80s I remember. It feels like something's missing.

Murray really knows Comic Shops. Star studded conventions choked out comics a couple decades ago. People go to stand in line for autographs and photos not to buy comics. Standing in lines sucks.

I agree.... There is too much rap in the Goldbergs! Rap was just starting to break into the mainstream in the 80s, but rock and pop were far more popular at the time.
Late 80s rap was HUGE. It was a curiosity too...unlike rock which people had figured out already. It was either hated or people wanted to cash in....trying to include breakdancing and rap in sitcoms.... quite often to embarrassing effect.
Run DMC, Beastie Boys, etc were huge in the mid-late 80's. Beastie Boys had the massive Licensed to Ill in 1986 and Paul's Boutique in 1989, and Run DMC already had 4 high selling albums by 1988 (and 5 by 1990).

Well that was a little on the awkward side...but anyway does anyone know what happened to schooled? Why hasn't it been airing the past few weeks? Did they only get a half season? Did it get cancelled?

Yes their was, San Diego Comic Con is one of the biggest and oldest comic book conventions in the country. Prior to the present time, it was more about the comic books thought and not so much about general pop culture. They still had some great guests from the comic book world attending, and the autograph lines were not crazy like they are now.
Schooled is now cancelled... they got 2 seasons.... but The Goldbergs will have another season once coronavirus bullshit is over.

Erica and Laney is the only reason to watch this show SERIOUSLY.......well BEVERLY is a force to be reckoned with too NO DOUBT. The only thing I don't like about the show is when they guilt trip each other. For example when one of them kills the others dream/aspiration. Observe how the victim who has there dream / aspiration submits to the ridicule. But at the end of the show the accuser submits to the guilt trip that they laid and pretty much says they're sorry each time. THAT PLOT TWIST IS SOOOOOOO TIIIIIIIRED.
It's a very formulaic show. In each episode, one of the characters (usually Beverly or Barry) lies or manipulates another to do something. Act 2-they find out. Act 3-they try to make it right again. Every episode, same basic plot.

The bracelets on Wendi are strangely placed......it's freaking me out. How do they not fall off when her arms are hanging at her sides???

I don't blame him I don't like the mom I like her when she was in Reno 911 & Bridesmaids and I have to admit I like her in the first 2 seasons of The Goldbergs but it seems like in later seasons that show took away her comedic edge she's getting way too much comfortable in her role as the mom

brandon smith yeah Sean and Troy are annoying as Adam and Barry have to admit Hayley was the only one is talented she's a great singer she needs to leave the show to focus on a new TV show or music career Wendi also I have to admit she was funny in season 1&2 season 3 she was alright but season 4&5 she's terrible she's more annoying and less funny the mom on that 70's show is more funny than her that show is making her lose her comedic edge
brandon smith saying the kids are terrible actors is absurd. The comedy may not be for you but the actors are very good. I think you’ll be hard pressed to find characters with more nuance than them
Jim Jameson yeah there’s a reason you don’t see any of them in movies...all of the acting is terrible, I study and boom mic films and tv shows, and as funny it may be to a selective folk it isn’t worth the slot time in any network, it’s just a worse version of modern family, and I didn’t even think that was possible..
@@brandonsmith8653 I absolutely agree with you this show supposed to be take place in the 80's it just don't feel like it at least season 1 & 2 it has a 80's feel a little bit but now it's like a normal comedy with an 80's setting now Miami Vice it's a better show than the Goldturds yes it's a cop drama but it's from the 80's and it it has an 80's feel to it
