I know the toy companies can't do separate eyes and shoes because it's a choking hazard. However, I was thinking playskool or whoever would make it could make Mr. Potato Head ages 6 and up. That way, if your kid chokes on it, it's not your fault because the kid should have known better
There is other issues that go into this but that’s the business side of toys. USA has too many lawsuits now so that’s why companies don’t do things often.

Mr potato head with legs I thought nooo but actually I watched toy story 1 today again and if you watch him closely you will see in some shots he has legs..little pin legs, but they are there. Watch the first one and you will see, he does have legs!! 😊

Custom is right on point! Probably because of child safety, they can’t make an eye or shoe separate. But then again the ears are separated.
That makes sense so since the toy companies don’t make it, the custom has to be done for my collection 🤠

Uh oh I think some of the paint on potato head body rubbed off on shoes can you fix that?
I got all versions of Mr. Potato Head from Toy Story 1995, Toy Story 2 in bucket with Mrs. Potato Head 1999, Toy Story 3, Toy Story Collection one, and Toy Story 4. I even got a Regular 1992 Playskool Mr. Potato Head with Yellow Glasses and Green Hat from my childhood since he's also a regular famous toy since the 1960's.

I bought a buzz lightyear today and he only speaks Spanish. He didn’t come with a box or instruction manual. I have no idea which one he is other than it says “Thinkway” on his foot and he has a couple of round things on the black of his stomach? If you have any idea which one this is please could you advise me on how to make him speak English? I’ve lost all hope
It’s either a Disney store Spanish buzz from 2010 to promote toy story 3 or it’s a buzz from Mexico..
@@todayigrewup I thought it was the 2010 lane that my little sister had and I seem to remember you have to hold the red button in for a bit to reset it? I may be wrong. It probably is just a Mexican version but I’m from the uk so don’t know why it would be in a little junk shop 😂

The potato collection is not that extraordinary in reality.. It is very heavy.. Very fragile..
The eyes are not even separated and it is too high on its feet (mister potato has no legs in the movie !! ) The price is especially justified by the fact that it is motorized and that it speaks but otherwise the replica itself is frankly far from being 100% accurate..
The classic playskool seems to me to be the best compromise level price quality !! And otherwise your custom is frankly nice!
Too bad we didn't have one like that sold on the market..
Yeah definitely agree with you here. It’s partly why when collection potato head came out in 2010 I heard he didn’t sell well for this reason.. I remember seeing him on clearance on Amazon for $30 at one point. Retail price was about $50-$60 which was a lot for a potato that didn’t even function like the movie. The one thing I do like is that it does have the voice of Don Rickles who has since passed away which is legendary to me.
I have always been a fan of Toy Story and especially the 3 main characters being: Woody, Buzz and Mr. Potato Head. Well my brother knows this and probably going on 2-3 yrs ago now he got me a set of the Toy Story 4 Mr./ Mrs. Potato Heads and I still have them in the boxes but did take a pair of eyebrows from one of my older versions and added them to this one on him in the box it makes him look even better! And I'll admit this version for at that time $10 at Meijer was well worth the price for one that is most movie accurate that was produced by a toy company. I'm happy with them.

1:40 I actually prefer the Toy story 3 version better than the toy story 4 one. Although toy story 3 was a terrible movie, except of the toys for toy story 3.
I like toy story 4 better than The 3rd film. But the toy story 4 toys from thinkway toys were bad because they ruined everything and a downgrade.
The custom Mr potato head is better than these other 2. Even though I have no opinion on the TSC potato head
