Why is there always open gutters when they construct roads in Nigeria, can they not use underground drains with pipes or tunnels ? That way there will be no sand on the side of the roads and people will not litter in the gutters causing floods , also open gutters are breeding grounds for mosquitoes
Beautiful city! Uyo city has prospect of being a topnotch city with consistent improvement on infrastructures, city planning and maintenance. Subsequent government, should give priority to cityscape, tourism, waterfront development, building code and transportation. The Ibom centre, rather plaza should be facelifted to an international standard. Akwa Ibom has an opportunity to build a city of international standard.
