I basically only go for charges when I really need the one shot melee or the extra range, otherwise horizontals have more flexible movement and paint and better DPS. Makes it feel more like brush which I’m very familiar with lol
I keep hoping your opponents will play double splash liter so I can see how you guys deal with that kind of comp, since I've been struggling against liter as of late. Especially so with Shiny on bamboo (which bamboo liter is a tough matchup). I notice Shiny runs LDE QR bamboo, is this to offset the disadvantage period in the event they sniped (since he's on a super slow moving weapon)? Great set, the Limeade LUTI sweep is looking pretty reachable right now. GL in week 3!
I’m sure we’ll run into that comp eventually lol. Also Shiny’s QR is to help them maintain pacing with the rest of the team since we’re trying out a high tempo style. Bamboo lets them still play a charger while also moving quickly and killer wail helps a ton against other chargers. Also what you said about minimizing their down time is true too!
I've gotten really into watching Splatoon comp teams and I have to say, I really enjoy you guys the most! You're really good AND funny!
