Why isn't paternity fraud illegal? Why aren't women held criminally accountable for doing this, since they knowingly defraud everyone involved for money and resources? It destroys so many families and lives, and it can take years sometimes before everyone knows the truth. All babies that are born in the hospital should have a DNA testing before any legal documents/birth certificate signed by the potential father. A couple can have a paternity even while she's still pregnant through one simple blood draw.

Because that's messed up. The court needs to be charged for not releasing this felon to the police and withholding her and for allowing the kids to be with a felon and putting the kids in danger. The court is contradicting itself what hypocrisy and shame. Sue the city dude forget bout them they are not for y'all but destruction.

He never signed a birth certificate he wasnt allowed to see her the whole time she was in the hospital but during that time she fraudulently signed his signature on the hospital doc.

Why isn't adultery still punishable with imprisonment? If you break a creational law in marriage and betray the spouse you promised total love, commitment, loyalty and devotion for life then it is a breach of the biggest contract there is and should be seen as such. In wedlock or out of wedlock, if you are bound in a relationship and have children you are bound by moral obligation and promise to each other and the child/children to set the example and just as a marriage, you are no longer just two people courting therefore this paternity fraud should be punishable as adultery and fraud.

If she knew that entire time, that should be considered paternity fraud and she should be held to account. It's wild that something as important as paternity can be so wildly abused by women without any consequences and in an untold amount of situations the women actually benefits greatly. There is motive and intent to deceive for financial benefit, how is that not a crime?

I watched a thing about this. She lives in a story in her head that she is a victim, and she will pick and choose what she remembers and how she sees things to make this story she lives in her reality. So to her she is the victim, therefore it is acceptable to do whatever to the bad guy in her story, in this case its this dude. The only problem is not everyone lives in her story, some people live in reality.

Since the law won't protect men in any way then you need to protect yourselves. Even if you're married DO NOT sign the birth certificate without a DNA test. If she refuses and gaslights you then sorry but she probably cheated and isn't positive its yours. Let her take you to court for child support cause then you can get a court ordered DNA test. Under no circumstances sign that birth certificate without that DNA test. Ever.

Been a few years, but when I was stationed in Hawaii, the mother of my 3 children ran off to Las Vegas and remarried to another man without the benefit of divorce from me. She also had another kid with him. When I filed for divorce, my attorney advised me that I was legally considered the father of her fourth kid despite the fact that I was in Hawaii and she Las Vegas for the 2 years before the kid was born. So I had to deal with that, too. Hawaii ordered her to pay child support in the whopping amount of $25/mo per child. Never saw a penny of that.

All unmarried men and women need to have babies tested at birth. This will stop a lot of unnecessary heartache later after years of bonding with child you believe go be yours. If she gets mad, so bad. This is the time it should be done. I think it should be mandatory if a child is born to unmarried parents.
