Suzi, none of the villains can sense energy besides Vegeta. Unless they are actively using their scouters, they have no idea about powerful beings anywhere. Ginyu dodged Goku because he could hear his movements

Isn't base Kaio-ken a 1.5X increase? I don't know that it's ever stated, but the fact he announces when he uses a 2X Kaio-ken implies that's not the base version of the form.

I mean if you've made it this far and u still haven't realized Goku always is a genius because he gathers everything he needs to know by testing his opponents and toys around in the beginning before getting serious later in the fight

@@amarijackson1200 as a kid though, he had to learn how counter opponents as strong or stronger than him. Especially against the likes of Roshi, Mercenary Tao, Tien Shinhan, and Demon King Piccolo. And that's just a few mentions.

Captain Ginyu reactions to Goku using the Kaioken were phenomenal
Especially since Goku's base at this current time is 90,000 and with the base multiplier of Kaioken being 2x, Goku's power level is 180,000 (enough to go toe to toe with Vegeta's Oozaru form back in the Saiyan Saga). And since Goku was confident his body can withstand a 10x Kaioken, it means his power level could be up to 900,000 and even more if pushed to doing a 20x multiplier with Kaioken. Hold this thought though when we get to Frieza vs. Nail.
And the golden sparks admist the red aura of Kaioken are just the tip of the iceberg of what's to come.

Goku's power level in his base form is 90000, now he is using the Kaoiken, that's why his power increase >>> 100k
His power level with kaioken is 180k

I don't know how Ginyu and Jess's scouters didn't explode with a power level higher than 100.000!
They're newer and better models than the ones that explode when going into the 20K+
I think the problem with scouters is when they go up to fast. We know at least the Frieza's powerlevel was documented.
reason is because they are the ginyu special forces and they have models that have a higher reading range to help them create strategies against their enemies, on the other hand the gauges that Frieza and his men took to Namek were very basic because they didn't expect to find someone stronger than Zarbon or Dodoria.

As far as I remember from the original manga, Ginyu current has around 120k power level, and Goku without Kaioken is about 90k. With 2x Kaioken, he can do 180k

Hi Suzy, 😊 a couple of things, Goku has a very high level of preparation and is very intelligent on the battlefield, you have to take into account however that Goku never starts a fight immediately at 100% of his strength, he always starts by testing his opponent's skills and then as the fight continues he adapts by increasing in step with the opponent's strength until he surpasses him which is why it seems to you that he is not good or intelligent on the battlefield. Ginyu is unable to sense Goku's presence, he is only capable of holding back his fighting level and releasing it, he is only able to follow Goku's movements because they are at equal strength or he is superior. Freeza is the same if he doesn't keep the scouter active he doesn't perceive anything.😊
Goku wouldve broken free from ginyu anyway with the kioken.

the manga is the original from the creator 🤣 of course everybody cares 😅 8000 vs 9000......not so significant of a difference but damn those translators sure slacked off many times
also the anime does not care if it does not make sense as much as the creator with the manga.....however in some cases the anime helps to fill holes that were left by the manga
so the anime can be sometimes more canon......the point is just to have everything explained and logical ....even if sometimes the creator itself was too lazy to figure things out

I love that you acknowledge not needing to know the manga. There are too many try hards out there who exclaim that so many moments in the anime are not filler. When it comes to Dragon Ball and everything anime related, it is a separate continuity from the manga. So people need to stop exclaiming certain episodes are not cannon or just filler. If it's in the anime then it's canonical to the anime.

It would be a separate continuity if it was totally separated
But the anime adapts the manga, it doesnt go away from it. So when they add something thats inconsistent, they cant run with it, they HAVE to go back to the manga, and that generates the trouble.
For example when they came up with a backstory for the saiyans that was immediately retconned. They couldnt run with it because its not a different continuity.

I find it hard to believe people were giving you a hard time about the Over 9000 meme and mistranslation, with you coming in blind, but hey, maybe I'm wrong. If that's the case, people need to get a life. But sometimes, maybe they're legitimately trying to educate you about the series. Some people do tend to get a bit animated and excited trying to explain things to newer people.
