FIRST TIME Backpacking, Complete Beginner and Gear Testing

I made a video of my very first overnight backpacking trip. It wasn't a long trail, but was a great way to test out all my brand new gear. It was an awesome experience for me. I hope you like it!!

@@richieoutdoorsnz No I haven't but have spent a lot of time in the National Park doing the crossing, Northern circuit several times, Upper Tama Lakes (great spot to camp there) etc but wanting to do a few more wild(ish) camps in the area.

Its a great area to explore. I want to try an Upper Tama Lakes wild camp sometime in the future and bag a bit of snow if I'm lucky!!
