Ma'am, is IELTS score has some weightage in admission process or it is just seen as a qualifier
A good band score like 8.5+ or 9.0 does give alluring impression during the application process :)))
No the main purpose of IELTS is just to confirm that you are good at English (IELTS is only for non English country)
Ielts score is for checking your english proficiency wheather you can speak eng ane understand it. Having a 9 band or bit low a bit increase chance for getting in...this scenario mostly is good in Canada and also okish in US

not compulsory, they do stand out though! to be honest any research experience even without a publication is good

scholarships and financial aid is not based on your gpa, they are need-based and calculated through your css profiles!

I'm enrolled for my full-time Masters at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, which typically ends by the last week of August next year. As i don't want to waste time, I would immediately like to proceed with my PhD coursework and wanted to get into top US universities that would aid my research prospects. In this respect, can you suggest whether it is advisable to apply for a PhD in the Fall 2023 term?

@@CrazyMedusa Thank you so much. I'm simultaneously preparing all the documents for my PhD application alongside the present year docs. I've already listed out the universities that I'm targeting and will apply for them. This year, I was rejected by Columbia for their dual Masters program in World History, which includes the 2nd year of study at LSE (London School of Economics). I firmly hope this time to make it into all the ivys as my area of study has a comparatively manageable competition in contrast with trending areas like Computer Science.

toefl is not a requirement for scholarship, so the score is just a number that you submit for your application process!

Yup! More or less, the essays might be different but you’ll still go through common app as a transfer student

Hey mam I want to know that if I choose commerce with IP in my 11th standard in CBSE board will top IVY League universities would accept me in undergrade in Computer Science major.
Each USA University is independent, in this case it is a little tricky as you will have to convince the colleges based on your curricular and essays that you are interested in pursuing Computer Science, but yes you can still apply!

You have to finish 4 years, write the MCAT exam and then you can apply for MD

There is no scholarship for graduate students if that's your question. Graduate students have to rely on dept. wide funding through RA and TA (that also if they get into Masters Thesis based program)
