Hi Mikerowchip I really liked this video, I found your spreadsheet very well prepared and that allows you to have total control of your railroad. I also have a spreadsheet, very humble compared to yours, and I'm going to apply some ideas you made to yours. Thanks for showing us your spreadsheet, I'm from Brazil and here Trainz doesn't have many fans, but I'm an enthusiast and passionate about Trainz, since the 2009 version and every day I'm learning more and your videos have helped me with that. I am always happy to hear from people from different countries that share my love of trains. Before the internet, we never would have had this chance to share thoughts, so again, this is cool! I too started with Trainz way back when, I bought my first CD copy at a Best Buy store when it was simply called "Trainz" (no year like 2009). Thanks for watching!
Yeah, it's a bit convoluted. I would not be surprised if how I explained it contradicts what is actually in the spreadsheet, especially with the red and green highlighted switch lists. I just started doing that and haven't quite worked it out in my head, or on the spreadsheet. I've been using this spreadsheet for years and it has gone though many revisions. I believe what I posted was version 23.44543.
Sure, no problem. Working with a spreadsheet makes the game more enjoyable for myself but developing it to where it is today took time and lots of trial and error.
