Though I don't fall in the demographic discussed in the video, there is certainly a sense of comfort that comes with being sad. It's not that it feels good but it still scratches the brain's itch for addictive feedback. That then can then maybe meld into the same feelings of nostalgia. Longing is a close neighbor to loss so it makes sense why it's easy to romanticize. Great vid! I love seeing things on topics that we're all aware of but never directly address because it's such a common part of the everyday.
