First listen today uk.My dad passed away 23.8.2019.Been hard to play music.Not sure what i should be doing.But have the other Monolord other albums.My dad had cancer and dementia at the same time for 3 years.My mother let me have his Hagstrom guitar,so sat here hearing these guitar solo,s ,and looking at that hagstrom is good for release.This with the new Tool music is my medicine i need right now.Thank you Monolord.

I love this song but seriously wish someone (or they themselves) would release a version where the solo on the last two minutes is mixed way higher in the soundscape. It is such an awesome ending and I always have to suddenly turn up the volume for it to feel balanced with what preceded it. I'm no expert but I just dont get their decision to "drown" such an excellent part of the song out😊

I remember hearing this when it first came out, and was like, "omg! I'm obsessed." I even bought the vinyl record. Flashforward to 2024 (today, five years since this song was released.) I'm like "dang, this song sucks" lmaooo the breakdown is still super sick, though. The message conveyed by the music video is EPIC! I get chills every time I come back to this place. I was a different person five years ago. I've seen and been through many of life's trials and tribulations since first discovering this song, (months on repeat. ) Perhaps that's why my new self is like "meh." I never want to go back to that time in my life. Mad love and props to Monolord for bringing back "Stoner Rock." They got me through a mediocre, lesser than version of myself.
