      Those calculations are pretty easy for you to figure out on your own. Find out how many watts that cooler draws.... This is 1002 white hours. So if the cooler draws 5 Watts... simply divide 5 W by 1002 W hours and you will have your answer

However, I would love to upgrade to Jackery power and solar panels, as I don't want to mount panels to my roof. I just need to allocate funds to make this move. We bought a 1500 for our house. Then we bought a van! The 1500 will be the power for our van as we begin to use it, to see how we want to wire it. Just started the van build - this week patching holes (from contractor cabinets, bolts etc.) wire wheeling rust and painting. Can’t wait next week or so, to get it insulated and install flooring walls, ceiling.... I want to go where the sun shines! Not too bad in recent days but it will be so nice to be able to do that! That system would be about $10,000 worth of batteries just to have enough reserve power to get you through a few days. The answer is no.. if you are the kind of person that requires that kind of power then looks like you’re going to be living at a campsite with short power all day. That’s crazy. Or running a generator beside your van all day and annoying all of the neighbours around you ha ha. There are just some luxuries you have to leave behind

    I just wish that Jackery could release one for the Australian market as there are very few similar products over here.

      Adam. the 240 and the 500 ARE available in Australia. The 240 on Amazon Australia and the 500 on the Australian Jackery website

    Forget the 12v cord. The best way to charge while driving is to use a 300w bestek pure sine inverter ($40) and the wall plug for the Jackery. 7 hrs instead of 14 hrs recharge time while driving. The bestek also has another 120v outlet and USB A ports you can use at the same time.

      If the Jackery is being powered by the inverter, then what is the inverter plugged into? Excuse my ignorance, but this all new to me.

      My small LG AC unit will not work with the e1000, it shuts down; the e1500 will run that AC unit for about 3.7 hours continuous.

    Id like to know if I could have 400w of solar, plugged into it, and have it charge while being used? Example: 400w solar charging the jackery, but using a tv and laptop to game at the same time. Would this even be possible?

    • @cali13guy
      @cali13guy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The e1000 accepts a maximum of 160 watts of input, regardless of port. Yes, it supports pass through charging, so you can charge and use appliances at the same time.

    I’d love one as we have medical machines and power outages, but that price point is a bit high. Definitely will be saving up... would rather have two 500’s but still nobody has verified the new low wattage shutoff times... :-/
