A lot of memories..I was in Djerba with my parents in the 90's.
Been working in Tunis for three years and it was a 2 and a half minute flight Madrid -Tunis.They had already come to visit once. This second time I planned a trip to an 'exotic place'
We drove and then took the ferry to Djerba. One exotic thing about it was that Islam was not all around you.Djerba had been a Jew destination a few years back and indeed we visited a synagogue.
There was a different atmosphere around the island,we had a good time
Something I haven't forgotten about that trip by car from Tunis:on the road going south we saw people selling bananas. My father loved them.InTunisia you couldn't find them, the President at the time didn't want to import anything from abroad.
We stopped immediately, paid an exaggerated prize and my dad had a feast of it.
looking forward to your vids from Lybia.

Thanks for the memories. It’s a big island with plenty to see. I was only passing through, so didn’t see much, as my main purpose was getting to Libya.
