    Steelers acquisition of Wilson and Fields was very good, but people keep forgetting they also stole Patrick Queen from their rival Baltimore then signed Deshon Elliott at safety to perfectly compliment Minkah Fitzpatrick AND added CB Donte Jackson. ALL very good moves filling and adding depth to positions of need. Excellent off-season for GM Omar Khan and the Steelers.

      And gonna have a drafts worth of picks which they do so well with. Pittsburgh without Pickett as QB is always scary 😂 As a Bears fan I pray Fields does well for you all trust me he’s got a ton of heart and one of most humble QB in the league. The point on AROD falling off his high standards. I dont agree. 1. His ankle is good. 2. In 2023 AROD didn't have to rehab any other physical issues in 2023 meaning his body was saved from no other injuries and was able to take a full year off to get his body back in great shape. I think the year off was an Advantage for AROD. Now no one wanted the Achilles injury, but it did give AROD a year break. 3. The JETS are much better in 2024 on paper. If they stay healthy, the JETS go deep into the playoffs. 4. AROD knows his window to Win quickly is closing, he knows only 2 or 3 years left at a higher level. The only mistake I see is OC Hackett. Hackett is an average OC at best. Without AROD, Hacket is not working

    I'm a lifelong jets fan, but every single year we have what we make what we deem to be great moves, and every single year we fail miserably. I don't buy that a 40 year old coming off an achilles, who wasn't even good his last season with gb, with two 33 year old bookends protecting him (one of which, Smith, has missed 55% of games over the past 4 seasons), is going to work out. I loooove wilson, hall, William. I love our defense. I just don't see us getting through a full season without major injuries

    • @AStewSr
      @AStewSr 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly! I been a NYJ fan for 50 yrs and Im tired of the JD era. He has had 6 seasons to fix this Oline and has proritized every position but the most importantposition that protects the QB. He literallycame here promisng to fix the Oline from the inside out. A lie he told to QBs Darnold and then Wilson and now he is selling this lie to Aaron Rodgers.
      This is why the priority for this draft has to be an OT that can step in and be plug and play. In a Draft that's so similar to the 2021 draft where 5 pro bowlers have come from already, we have to grab an all pro caliber olineman while we can. We also need a OG that's plug n play so 8f we traded down and got a 2nd rd pick or even if we traded away next years rds 2-7 picks to get a 2nd or an extra 3rd I'd jump at the chance to double down on a OG and a DT.. Warren may take a step forward this year but will never be more than a RT.

Orlovsky is right, the Jets are indeed a fingers-crossed team… health Is the biggest deal going forward… Also the Jets should get an B+ for their free agency… Also I agree with Dan.. get younger on the offensive line… Draft a lineman… because..
    Top Five moves for me
    5.) Pittsburgh still needs to really set the tone by getting another Wide Receiver after losing Johnson… I like their tight end, I like Pickens and Harris, but they need one more receiver, but they still play in a division which will have a healthy Joe Shiesty, Lamar Jackson and a scary Cleveland defense… but Pittsburgh also needs to get more depth defensively…
    4.) I like what the Titans are doing… them getting a young receiver in Ridley to pair with Hopkins, getting Pollard as a replacement for Henry, if Levis is the real deal this can really set things in the right direction
    3.) Chicago is top three as well due to the fact that they got multiple weapons to help their young QB, I do think them getting Allen, Swift and improving on their line, in addition to signing JJ long term, Chicago is on the cusp of making some waves…
    2.) Saquon Barkley going to the Eagles, that’s a great chance to make him the most versatile back in the game alongside CmC, I do also like CGJ going to Philly improving the secondary
    1.) I do agree that Houston had the best Offseason…

      Nope, sorry, Nada.. NO, they shouldn't. Brock Bowers is a luxury pick! Orlovsky is right. He can't play OT or OG if one of the three guys we signed goes down. Our Backup Olineman (Warren, Mitchell, Schweitzer) are not good at all. If they were, we wouldn't be solely relying on 3 question marks (Smith, AVT, Moses). If one of those guys gets hurt, AR8 will be running for his life, we might make playoffs because Rodgers can mitigate some bad Oline play, but we will lose against teams with better D lines. I'm 50 yrs old and would like to see more than just a SB appearance. I WANT A SB WIN!

Even u are trying to downplay who Grenard is by emphasizing he had one good year. 12.5 sacks is still a pretty good season even if it was only once in his career.

      What difference does that mean when comparing 2020 or 2022 Grenard to 2024 Hunter? We are talking about how much Hunter will improve the Texans from 2023. So u compare Grenard and his 12.5 sacks to what Hunter will be in 2024. There is an upgrade but it is not dramatically different. It is not like u are comparing 2024 Hunter to 2020 Grenard where the Offense & Defense personnel are different. U are trying to improve on the 2023 team. So u look at what 2023 Grenard brought to the table.

    • @NecroticCortex
      @NecroticCortex 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AL.BUNDY. Lol attempting to insult someone just makes you look like the one who never finished high school. We're discussing how big of a potential upgrade/ downgrade Danielle Hunter is compared to Jonathan Greenard. This means you have to look at both players, not only what they did last year but also the trends that they show throughout their individual careers. When you compare their careers, losing Greenard is not that big of a loss. Yes he has youth on his side. Yes he had a good year last year but that is one year out of 4. Then we look at Hunter. He has had a much longer carrer so he is getting up there in age. If you take a look at his career though, he is much more impressive. He has had only 1 year where he failed to reach 10+ sacks and that was due to an injury. He was the better player in 2023 as well as the better player overall. He will prove to be a bigger upgrade not only during the 2024 season but also for seasons to come. You said that losing Greenard had a bigger impact than what people are giving credit for. My opinion is that it is not as substantial of a loss that you think it is.
