Well... they're going against Azdaha so its reasonable. Debuffs and DoT are everywhere on this domain and having low hp there is basically telling everyone that you want to be slain asap. If I am also a hutao main in that situation I would also tell them to at least someone give me a healer or something. Even if there's Zhongli (unless he has constellations) the crystallize shield isn't really reliable unless its an EM zhongli but who's sane enough to equip EM on their Zhongli? If this is a separate domain without hp dot then that's actually fine to have no healer

The HP can keep relative low because you only take advantage on the increase interruption RES to let the enemies hit you, when I go on Co-Op and no healer I just manage it by dodge and the burst to recover, somes times she go to 30% and then up to 80% again XD, a 70% HP Hu Tao prior to use the elemental is the perfect point.
When the notification that says he's about to change element pops up, that's your cue to start running to the edge of the arena to avoid the stomping Knowing this will help the healer to keep you alive as well since it's hard to tank the stomping in lvl 90 domain

Personally, I don't mind healing when I play Hu Tao in co-op. A couple of days ago, Yaoyao apologized to me for healing, and I wanted to say it's fine, but they left before I got to.
I'm literally a hutao main and I always keep a healer in my main team because I suck at dodging lmao, in terms of co-op domains I usually don't use hu tao and switch up to a healer since most of the time I'm playing with people that doesn't have c2 zhongli or a well built Noelle that can protect me and the other players. If one of them switch to a healer I usually go with hutao. My friend(also a Hutao main) calls me insane for bringing kokomi with hutao in the same team 💀. I usually don't care if hutao doesn't create big pp damage, as long as all my team members are alive and defeated the enemies that's okay lol. (But most of the time I only used kokomi's skill when hutao is in verge of death and my other team members too.)
I use my Barbara almost always I use Hu Tao, she had 2 roles, now 3, first is keep alive the suicidal pyromaniac and the second is wet them to deal more damage, and now than she having the ocean-hued clam set, is a welcome extra damage XD. As you said, just don't dodge and take advantage of the increased interruption RES to keep continously attacking, you can stay under 50% that way. I even have a Noelle on the team to switch and deal some damage using the pasive from Hu Tao (increase the crit rate for the anothers chars when the Paramita Papilio State ends) and use the shield to avoid knockback when I do the rotation on the CD for Hu Tao.
As a Hu Tao main, I can agree we cant literally survive without a healer even if we hate healers. Ive met countless other Hu Tao mains which we didnt need a healer but we ended up all dying unless there was a healer 💀💀
Pro tip: if you want to dodge the ice, water bubbles and fire attacks, just run into the edge of the domain. I works for electro too except the underground part
My top 1 experience with Hutao Main is that, one time in Azhdaha domain, Yelan died in first phase, Layla died in second phase, we need to kill the frog in third phase *with Hutao and Xiao both in half hp* . Thankfully I learned how to dodge that frog without Grandpa and even then I still got hit once. I don't know about Hutao but Xiao was at HP *200 just* when we finished. We're both at life support red line btw. I was scared to death we wouldn't be able to kill it in time. It was the most thrilling Co-op ever XD
Whenever there's a Hu Tao in co-op, I usually bring Kokomi and focus healing the Hu Tao XD it's fun seeing Hu Tao trying to run from my jellyfish, only for me to use my burst to heal them fully
@@Moonri20 well all of the Hu Tao players I’ve played with in co-op can’t lower their hp to 50%. They’re always full health. Why? Cause if I see they’re not getting healed, I use my burst and that brings them to full hp. My Jellyfish heals around 6.5k per tic, while my burst heals 1.2k per hit. Unless u have 70k hp, I don’t think u can lower ur hp below 50% with that kind of healing. (Not to mention, my Kokomi is 80/80 with donut at 80/80 and 4 piece clam set. I am also planning to ascending her to 90 also her weapon, just think about the healing I would do ahahahahahha)

My coop experiences: Everyone loads in with a character that works perfectly together(healer, dendro applier, hydro applier, electro applier for example), but then half the players switch to ganyu/xiao/wanderer. Everyone picks the same character, then every switches to another character and nobody ends up playing the character everyone picked originally. Player with a russian name, dies to the first attack of the boss. RARE: someone picks a meme character and everyone else switches to a meme character that works well with it.

I think one of the beast hu tao healers is Noelle, she doesn’t heal to much so Hu Tao can still do damage but heals just enough so she doesn’t die. I did it once in a domain when the Hu Tao was dying too much
I've just played with a Zhongli C0 and a Barbara in Co-op, Raiden got her shield up 4 times but we did it without any lose (i was playing Rosaria to buff the Kaeya but he was lacking damage). It was a nice boss in co-op. Do Co-op domains, most player i met there are so nice. ❤
When I was first time being in coop, I saw some weird girl that was like sort of a soldier from 20th century (and had always low hp), I tried to heal her with kuki (who unfortunately can heal 500 per tick), then after completing mondstadt and liyue, I realized that girl was Hu Tao, who can do higher damage when low hp
To be fair, as a hu tao main i would ask for a healer too because without a shield its very very hard or even near impossible to fight azhdaha with just solo hu tao.

For buff you need to level him up, give him a weapon with high base atk, level up his burst talent, and give him noblesse set, no need for any stats. You can use (hp/er, hp, healing bonus) artifacts for better healing, or (atk/er, pyro dmg, crit) for better dmg, and make sure you have high ER to get his burst every rotation.
I use healers always. Everytime I do co-op and there's a hu tao main, they are the first to die but dont want healing and get aggresive. 🤨 if U want every person to keep your normal dmg just do solo domains then. Its better to be alive and do good dmg that being dead and do 0 dmg, you leave the job and effort to everyone else. Imagine not being able to do good dmg with a full hp hu tao lmao

That's no HuTao main. HuTao mains stay below half hp and use the NRE bag. Then again Qiqi and Hu Tao actually work well together

I know!, on Solo you can manage all, but on Co-Op, to me using Hu Tao is a risky bussiness. Who gonna die first? They or me? I can manage on somes domains but a weekly boss? No way :,D you need multiple hits to recover all the HP than Hu Tao lost, she is not good versus one enemy.
i dont ask for healers but i dont mind if there is one, for some reason people assume im one of *those* hu tao mains so they purposely heal me to “piss me off” but it doesnt work because i still do more damage than everybody else on the team lol, i just dont understand what the point of assuming is, most hu tao mains i meet dont mind healers and i also dont mind them..though its slightly annoying if they heal me before the round on purpose its not a big deal
many hu tao mains are mad when there’s a healer on team. She may not need it but her teammate does. if they don’t want healer then why bother to join co op?

For buff you need to level him up, give him a weapon with high base atk, level up his burst talent, and give him noblesse set, no need for any stats.
You can use (hp/er, hp, healing bonus) artifacts for better healing, or (atk/er, pyro dmg, crit) for better dmg, and make sure you have high ER to get his burst every rotation.

I use healers always.
Everytime I do co-op and there's a hu tao main, they are the first to die but dont want healing and get aggresive. 🤨 if U want every person to keep your normal dmg just do solo domains then. Its better to be alive and do good dmg that being dead and do 0 dmg, you leave the job and effort to everyone else.
Imagine not being able to do good dmg with a full hp hu tao lmao
