Yes. Or he could be a father as in a piece of the soul king. Considering what we learn next episode and the episodes after, Juha could be a piece of the soul king or a reincarnation of the soul king’s consciousness. Similar to Demon King Piccolo had a “son” but it was more of a reincarnation with his own will.
I’d argue biological because he has the potential to surpass his father but due to the time he takes to return into his proper form and his interaction with the many souls he is limited. Just look at Ichigo he’s literally a hybrid of Quincey, Shinigami, and Hollow due to his mother being attacked while pregnant with him which lead to his Fullbring powers as a human and I have yet to touch his dominance in hell as a Vazo Lord.
Him "growing up" watching his father get sealed could be symbolizing about how over time yhwach learned the truth about the soul king as he aged and got more powerful
I assumed it was sort of a God and Jesus situation. Jesus is sometimes considered God himself while other sects of Christianity consider him his own entity as the actual son of God. So, perhaps it's more like Yhwach is Jesus and Adyneus is God?

Yhwach was not immune to Ichimonji’s ink. He bypassed it with his almighty. Even before he powered himself and other 6 up with Auswählen after being hit by Ichibei.
Many people believe Ichibei erased Yhwach’s true name. In the Manga it’s stated he gave himself the name because the people worshipped him like a God. He didn’t have a name before that as far as he knows and Ichibei is able to erase names.
In shin megami tensei at least : adonai, el shaddai, and sabaoth are interpreted as host of the same beings or yhvh avatar. Soul King and yhwach could probably be in relation to each other either as the same beings in different hosts or either avatar of the more higher God.
The parallel to Adonai and Yahweh, two names for the same God, suggests that the series may be exploring themes of duality and unity on a cosmic scale. If Yhwach is indeed a part of the Soul King, it completely reframes their relationship-not as adversaries, but as fragmented parts of a once-whole being. This could redefine how we understand the very nature of power, creation, and conflict in Bleach. I love how the imagery of Yhwach aging as he sinks into the primordial sea seems like a symbolic representation of his severance from a higher state of existence-his fall from an almost divine realm into the cycle of rebirth. It paints the Soul King’s choice to split the worlds as a cosmic betrayal, casting Yhwach into a mortal fate, sparking his obsession with reclaiming that lost status. there is an actual adoneus in early christian lore connected to the ogdoad, meaning 8 of a kind, which i assume refers to the sk irises, so i don't know if the connection u made with the name is necessarily right. there is also a good chance yhwach growing was metaphorical, to show the passing of time and events. my understanding was that yhwach existed back then but once reality changed he went into the cycle and was born like everyone else. this is a fun theory though and makes u rethink a lot of stuff about these two beings and their motives and goals.

That's because Ichibei's plan is to use Ichigo after he loses and make him the next Soul King. There is also even more lore that we learn in the novels, if you want I can explain it to you.
Acc Yhwach is different than Yhwh and thats the point.
Cause it's Bleach, not Bible.
@@justineczarnobyl9987 still isnt there a panel where it sats yhwach got his name from the God humanity worships
@@VAUD3SKubo stated it. Actually, Yhwach was supposed to be named Yhwh, but Kubo changed it because he didn't want to offend christians.
"Widely believe". The problem with all these speculations is , until Kubo is saying the truth himself I will not be able to believe theories. There are too much T
My theory is Yhwach could probably be comparable to a Zanpakuto spirit of the soul king
Brooks the only Soul King I recognize
I wonder if Yhwach was part of the soul king, then I wonder what part was he. I think personally Yhwach represents the soul kings ego, which, personally is more just based on Yhwach having a visible and expressive personality and the soul king not so take it with grain of salt from me.
Maybe Yhwach is the spirit of Adonyeus's sword.
It makes sense then why he calls quincy's his children in that case.
Kubo stated for the 1000 year blood war arc he took inspiration in judaiism and christianity and some ancient summarian culture.
Wouldn't surprise me if soul king has a sons for each word one from the human world ichigo, ywatch from the quincy verse and one from hueco mendo
Hebrew speaking here and I confirm both names refer to the same being 💯
They could go with that yhwaha is just a peice of the soul king like the leg since in the anime they state that his parts are just as stong as squad 0
Seems like kubo really enjoyed the Bible
Its another nod to Christianity i think, before being born on earth the son was with the father
there is an actual adoneus in early christian lore connected to the ogdoad, meaning 8 of a kind, which i assume refers to the sk irises, so i don't know if the connection u made with the name is necessarily right. there is also a good chance yhwach growing was metaphorical, to show the passing of time and events. my understanding was that yhwach existed back then but once reality changed he went into the cycle and was born like everyone else. this is a fun theory though and makes u rethink a lot of stuff about these two beings and their motives and goals.
Its also possible because the Soul King has a bit of everything including part Quincy, that he refers to him as father because of this connection. Could be wrong. I'm only watching the anime on Hulu so I only know as much as the anime goes and watching videos like this.
Yhwach already stated that he is the son of the Soul King along with the first shinigami
My theory is that Yhwach is the eyes of the soul king hence his 4 pupils being blacked out
Great theory!!!
Can we get Byf to do this his own takes on bleach please
I believe that no problem
In judaism when we pray and the word “yaweh” comes up we don’t read it, instead we say adonai
The first time i read about the primordial sea i immediately thought of Neon genesis evangelion, and after seeing how this arc progresses my doubt was confirmed.
Probably yes cuz soul king is just a quincy who can not only mamipulate the reishi but fuse with his own body so he is just evolved yhwach
Can someone address the fact that the world before the Soul King was actually kind of awful? Like idk what YHWH 0.5 was talking about with his “no fear of death” BS you could absolutely stop existing and/or suffer.
Soul king might be spiritual father of yhwach and not the like real father
“Somewhere before” bro can talk about judaism but can’t talk about christianity
Soul king - god
Ichibe - adam
Ywach - jesus.
The parallels were farely clear and simple
Yep it will offend the christian community if they ever found out tite kubo used Christianity and buddhism in his anime , they'll call it blasphemy and cancel him lol
@@Shirosaki_Ichigoi don't think so. smt literally has yhwh in it and he's painted as an evil being, yet the series isn't a very controversial series (even lots of smt fans are christians themselves). bleach on the other hand is still pretty tame imo
Who's Ichigo though?
@@RanmaruReiyeah who’s ICHIGO
@@RanmaruRei he doesn't fit into the metaphor.. likely because he existed before the arc where the other twos stories unfolded.
If he does though I'd need to dig deeper into the mythos around judeochristoanity.... I grew up a PK but only ever touched Christianity & not Judaism or Catholicism
Maybe one could argue Satan (enemy) or Lucifer. But I don't see him as a fallen angel archetype.
My quick thought was Judas but ishida would take that if anyone xD
Long story short though it almost certainly ends the metaphor with the 3 & likely at most only extends to the others who bare the soul kings limbs
what i wanna know is where yamamoto fits in all of this
There are so many things in bleach inspired by the Bible I've always said that
What if Yhwach is the Soul King's Zanpakuto spirit? Or at least some sort of precursor to it?
It does beg the question, did Ginjo's zanpakuto spirit also appear like Yhwach since he is a SK candidate too
So… Yuha Bacha is the BLEACH Jesus? Well, if so he got the hair. And the ‘stache. 😆
But Jesus' elite guard wasn't named like a N*zi paramilitary organisation
It always reminded me of God and Jesus and how Jesus is sometimes referred as God, and some parts could be interpreted as Jesus being God himself but also a separate being.
Hell nah. They are both totally different beings.
Baryon Naruto is enough to humble them and utterly dominate them
They got the same big nose at least
short answer "The trinity"
Nuh
Maybe ywch is a part of the soul king. Rei-o is unimaginable powerful, I mean the strongest being of everything
To me, i feel like ichigo is the reincarnation of reio.
Ywach is the actual son of the Quincy (soul)king.
Truth about the soul king is😅
Damn it kubo you just had to blaspheme
If Yhwach and the Soul King are the same then why would Yhwach need Ichigo to kill the Soul King?
Because if they are the same, then Yhwach is just a piece of the SK. Yhwach doesn't possess the powers of Soul Reapers, Hollows or Fullbring
@@AnalogStick95yhwach should be a piece though
Wait if there is 7 names, 2 are down now.... Just saying 5 more give or take is possible
If this is the case we gotta figure out who's the last member of the holy trilogy. We got the father and the son but what about the holy spirit
The holy Strawberry is present and accounted for. (Just joking, no confirmation yet.)
he can't be a part of the soul king otherwise he wouldn't need ichigo to kill him he could do it himself because if he was a part of the soul king then that would automatically make him a soul king candidate because not only was he a part of the sk but he had the almighty too
