It will almost assuredly be a logistical nightmare. Glad they were honest with themselves and decided not to undertake a bunch of new construction though. There is no way they could get anything done in time. In CA it would take 25 years and they’d go 10 times over the proposed budget.
5:12 yea, I didn’t got that. World Cup is hugely watched and followed around the world. Is this guy telling me that fencing event, or even swimming or athletics equals one World Cup? We see these events at their World Championships and they don’t come close to a soccer WC!!! 🤷🏻
Kicking students out of their dorms for 3 weeks to let World-Class Athletes stay in their dorm rooms during The Olympic Games... The logistics are going to be a nghtmare!
What's wrong about LA having the Olympics? First off, its not for another 4 years. Secondly, is it because of transportation/travel and traffic, political conflicts that may come up, money? Explain yourself
It being 4 years away has nothing to do bearing on whether it is good or bad. The IOC is a corrupt organization always looking to line its own pockets. If it turns out that it doesn’t cost the taxpayers anything then I’ll be proven wrong but it is usually the local population that gets most screwed by hosting these global events.
I was watching another video and he does not sound prepared. He does not sound like he actually knows what he is doing? He doesn’t even have a schedule.
They have 4 years to plan logistics and small stuff. There are no permanent facilities to build, which is usually the biggest thing to worry about. They're fine.
I’ll bring some positivity. I’m very proud and happy as a Gen-Z American and sport fan to finally have an Olympics on US soil in my lifetime!!

LA Olympic board is probably down in Brazil right now, asking the best way to hide poverty, for the event.
I live in L.A., I hate that the games are coming here.
Ditto. If I'm still here then, I'll make sure I'm ... somewhere else.
I mean it’s terrible for the environment and the community

You're in the minority and probably not a native Angeleno.
This guy has a real smug way about him
"And lo and behold, I'm a very important person!"
Or you have low esteem
That’s an LA vibe
You lost me at the grandfather talk😊
His grandfather was chairman of Universal Studios for a LONG TIME!!
Left out the key part that they got it cause Boston dropped out lol
And other cities, too. So what? Bostonians were against it. Angelenos embraced the games. Bostonians are the lame lovers here.😂
Boston realized all these people of different races will be coming into town and said nah.
There won't be a Los Angeles in 2028
Can you expand on that thought?

He wasn't chosen to be LA28 chairman if he didn't know what he's talking about. YOU don't know what you're talking about.
@@bbbeezy Actually, LA had 13 years to get ready for 2028 this TIME around. THey put this bid together starting in 2015 or thereabouts.
