I really want this to be a thing where the pacifist path was a default option in the game rather than taking apart the other animatronics, and I would've bet that Freddy would have been exceedingly happier to have his friends back to normal

I'll say it again: an alternate ending or route, even if non-canon, for 'saving' the animatronics could be amazing gameplay-wise. There could be a mission line for removing the hacks Vanny did, either involving reaching some kind of console to reverse the hack or luring the animatronics to an area where they can be reverse hacked and repaired. It would give Vanny more opportunities to be a threat if Freddy were preoccupied with holding off or repairing his friends too as Gregory would likely have to access more human-sized or animatronic no-go spaces to complete the route.

I've talked about some ideas along these lines: there are parts of some of the endings that require Chica, Monty, and/or Roxy to function as enemies for the gameplay to work, but in theory they could be replaced with painted endos.
It's clear that these animatronics are supposed to be genuinely good and nice and friends with both Freddy and the kids, which it makes it all the more tragic that they were hacked into being evil and given these personality disorders. Providing the player a way to bring these characters healing would be just amazing and rewarding. Though I think it'd be better if Chica and Monty got as much characterization---as much dialog that pulls at the player's heartstrings as Roxy has, to make that really impactful.

I had a thought where the "saving the band" route involves having a choice after damaging each robot; you can either take their upgrades, or their AI chip/CPU/whatever part of them is responsible for their personalities. If you take the latter, the S.T.A.F.F. Bots will converge on the robot (forcing you to get the hell out of the way, lest they find you and alert the remaining enemies) and take it to repairs...but it ends up with them being rebooted in Safe Mode, like Freddy was at the beginning of the game.
If you take Freddy to their green room once the repairs are complete (probably requiring some sort of timed mission and/or evading security to make a path for Freddy, since Vanny's probably on high alert about letting him see them before she can "fix" their programming again), he'll talk them into helping Gregory, after which you can opt to call them to assist you, either as a supplement to Freddy or an alternate "helper" with different advantages and downsides.
Of course, this doesn't go unnoticed by Vanny, and she starts deploying new robots to fill the gap left by each band member; probably either Glamrock Endos that behave like each of them or some of those "Nightmare" S.T.A.F.F. bots seen in the waste disposal area, which have the added ability to actually kill Gregory instead of just sounding the alarm. After you save two or three of Freddy's bandmates, Vanny herself starts patrolling the PizzaPlex, becoming more aggressive as the night goes on or Gregory progresses on his objectives. Maybe even Glitchtrap gets in on things late in the game by trying to remotely hack the robots; you then have to get to their location and flash them with the Faz-Cam or the Faz Blaster to reset their systems, or else they become hostile again.
Now, the creepy part is that this also kind of ties into Freddy's optional scene if you take him to the room with all of the spare endoskeletons. Technically, the "saved" robots aren't the same ones that he's been performing with, because Gregory still has their original AIs with him; they're basically new iterations of the characters installed in their old bodies. Cue the Theseus's Ship Paradox as you wonder whether this counts as a form of murder or not; if it's the same body with a new copy of the same AI, is it still the same "person" as it was before?
I really love how that thumbs up is basically Chica's way of saying "It's alright. I never blamed you."
It was Glitchtrap/Afton controlling her and the others. Chica is herself again here, so yeah this is a touching moment.

This is probably one of the few horror games, let alone for the FNAF series where you want to not only save the robots out to kill you/capture you, but also befriend them.
I hope steel wool is watching the fanbase. We'd love a dlc where we can befriend/help them; even if it's unbearably hard, we'd take it. Because we're all in this together Superstar.

Security Breach takes place in a single night, despite being called "five nights". Potential dlc could give us additional nights. Meaning all the endings up to this point could be classified as "Night 1 endings".
This gives us the chance at having 5 full actual nights with future dlc's, which could give us multiple endings to each night. We could theoretically repair every damaged animatronic, 1 per night, and may even be able to salvage bonnie.
There is little hope, but I am willing to not let go of it and wish for this to happen

I heard that there was a scrapped daytime mode where you would do side quests for certain kids and make friends

I think this video gives Chica a little more depth as a character. She looks so sad and ashamed of how she lost her beak, turning away from Gregory as if she'd already given up hope and assumed she was scrap. All the while she tries to appear happy and positive, just giving Gregory a thumbs up.

I love how in the entire series before people would make the franchise so scary and terrifying (and some NSFW). Now that security breach came out people are making the franchise wholesome and cute, it made me shed a tear.

Considering that Gregory was pretty good with technology too, I can see him helping Vanessa to buildeveryone back in the good ending.
Especially 'cause the moment Vanessa's supervisors would come in after the game, they'd be both fucked and unable to explain everything without sounding crazy as fuck.
oh boy that would be fun,knowing Vanessa she would likely be fired or something along those lines, not sure about Gregory though. he may get lucky and perhaps get a job at his age or something.
You knows that the thing, if he can do that. Then why couldn’t there be an option when you defeat them after each battle you have the option to take their parts or fix them and reprogram them to be good. Plus who knows the possibility on endings of who you fix or if you fix all three (or maybe four 🌞🌝) them.

I totally want this route in the game. I feel sorry for all the animatronics we destroyed even though they tried to kill us for the whole game. However, I don't know if this would be likely, since in the game we can't see any spare animatronic shells or parts present. I do hope there'd be some quests that open new parts of the pizzaplex and give us spare shells to fix them.

Fun fact: after defeating Afton, all animatronics are repaired by Gregory, he along with Freddy and the glamrocks makes peace and went on their seperate ways, but before stealing a van, Vanessa gets fired from her job, and the basement is turned into a museum.

I imagine one of the arguments against making this an option in the actual is "but who would be chasing after us with them all fixed?" That's a fair point, but seeing how much content wasn't used in the original game, I feel like it's safe to say that they probably had some scrapped characters as well, like Bonnie perhaps. Also, that would be the prime opportunity to make Vanny and/ or Vanessa more of a consistent threat(s) since we barely see them at all in the game prior to these events or afterwards.
My idea is that when you fix the Glamrock animatronics, Burn-trap sends some old animatronics to replace them, I.E. Original Foxy replaces Roxanne and Toy Chica replaces Glamrock Chica or something like that and the Blob is under Burn-trap's control and attacks under the pizzaplex until the end where as you attack Burn-trap he looses control until the Blob attacks him instead
I think Vanny would have been the perfect option.
She simply becomes far more aggressive if you repair the animatronics and hiding doesn’t work any where near as well as it used to, not even hiding in Freddy works. But now you have access to new abilities from each animatronic that you can use to temporarily get rid of her
Honestly when Freddy said "There must be an explanation for why they're attacking you", I thought for sure there would be an option to fix them after decommissioning them or some alternative to just straight up free them and then they help you like Freddy.
In another video's comment section, someone goes into detail on what could the other animatronics help you, but he didn't know what role give to chaca to which I sugested a mother-ish kind of role recharging the flashlight or the toy gun.

This video is just so heart warming... Chica is actually my favorite character in FNAF: Security Breach. I was sad to see her get broken :( but this is just so heart warming and it makes me want to cry and hug Chica..
None of the animatronics really wanted to hurt Gregory, Freddy himself said so. Vanny was controlling them to kill Gregory to not find any more secrets of the pizzaplex, the reason Freddy was still nice is probably because he was on safe mode or something like that
Or maybe he was brainwashed too, but in Security Breach's opening cutscene, he suffers a malfunction that probably sets him back to his old self again. Don't even think I'm right.

@@sectorsounds602 good chance that Vanny/Vanessa (same person) is Afton's granddaughter (she is described as "Vanessa A." in the birthday list of the breached PizzaPlex emails and she likes bunny shaped cake, she's also 23 years old).

Honestly speaking, this SFM feels heartwarming.
As for this FNAF in general, I don't know why, but somehow this friendship of Freddy and Gregory makes me smile. I feel something warm inside looking at them. They seem like true friends.
This is the moment when I feel a true love more honest than in any cartoon/anime/film/series whatsoever.
This made me feel satisfying watching gameplay of this one.

Actually a bit wrong. Afton brainwashed Vanessa turning her into vanny. Vanny then hacked into the animatronics to capture gregory. Kill him and add his flesh to afton to make him complete

I actually had a pseudo pacifist idea for the game myself.
I never fully thought it out, because why put so much energy into nothing, but the idea went like this:
Key moments would have to take place before the "Repair Freddy" scene, because by that point Gregory already has a level of hatred for the cast where he's committed to survival first.
I'm not entirely sure how it'd go, but it'd allow Gregory to see the humanity in the robots 1 by 1.
Chica's could start right at the beginning, when she's eating Pizza. If you watch her eat for a whole minute, a unique scene pops up where Vanissa pops in and calls her out for being a disgusting trash eating goblin. Chica actually looks a bit dejected through this, an ends up slumping over and huddling herself in the corner. If you walk up to her, interact with her, move past her... nothing. She doesn't even jumpscare you if you physically make contact. In the room, you could possibly find something nice, like a pizza box with a _pseudo-fresh_ pizza or something, possibly a towel/handcloth to wipe her face with. Afterwards, she simply looks at you, looks at the item, takes it and eats it quietly. (Comedy achieved if she eats the hand-cloth).
This would immediately affect the game because during the Monty scene she would either be absent or she would run directly into Monty as an _accident_ where you could hear dialogue like: "Chica, what are you doing?!" "Please be careful of the wet floor!" Showing an actual sabotage of the mission. At this point, the person hunting you in the early game is no longer Chica, but Roxy. I'm not entirely sure what you could do here, but that's because there's so many possibilities that you can have where Gregory acts like a friend to Roxy. One I could think of was when Sun shouts Security alert, Freddy isn't there and the only enemy who is happens to be Roxy who chases you down a unique path that wasn't open before. During the chase, Freddy is calling out to help you on your watch being held up by Vanessa or Monty or someone else who's basically forcing his attention away and he has to play along or they will know they're helping him.
Through the chase, you end up forcing yourself into a basement area where you're put into a new area that leads you into the endoskeletons, and when you go down there the existential crisis that Freddy has is then transferred to Roxy. Through the whole area you hear her voice, but never see her, as the Endoskeletons chase you down. You get to a large room full of them and manage to hide away, but in a spot that still allows you to see into the room, like a vent without a music-man-baby. When you look into the room, all the Endo's are walking towards Roxy, and she starts to have a panic attack as all eyes are on her. She mutters, backing away in fear, as they approach slowly. You _can_ just leave, putting it back on the normal route, or you can double back and run into the room and flash them all with your flashlight. All the Endos stare at you and stop, causing Roxy to look up from her breakdown at you.
"What are you... doing?"
"They don't move when I look at them!"
"...What?"
"What are you waiting for? Go! Get out of here! This is what you wanted, right? They're looking at me now! Go!"
Causing Roxy to get up, stumble a bit, and then sprint out. As soon as she's out of sight your flashlight dies instantly, regardless of battery, and all of their eyes light up as they rush you down giving you JUST enough time to QUICKLY turn back around and jump back into the vent
As for Monty when Freddy is injured and you run over to him, he's just standing over him and stares back at you and chases you down. He chases you down the entire time, and is the only one who attacks you during the scene where Freddy tells you (on the watch, this time) about the lift controls. Instead of the Backstage pass, it's a pass that leads you into a completely different area, and when you go there you end finding the Backstage pass there, but Monty catches you. Just before he can actually get you, Chica ends up grabbing him by one of his arms, and before he can throw her off Roxy grabs the other. Through a joint effort, they both manage to persuade him to stop, possibly by acting a bit human and telling him how they're made to _protect_ kids, and this is _not_ that. Eventually, Monty backs down, realizing what he's doing and how far off the deep end has gone, possibly even having a moment where he realizes that Freddy was the only one who... kept himself in control this whole time, keeping to the mission of keeping this kid safe-realizing he deserves the title of leader more than he does. (I know that there's some lore hinting at Monty killing Bonnie just to go up the ladder, but I have no idea if that's true so I'm not gonna think about it and ignore it for the sake of this idea.)
Just as they all start to have a group understanding, of wanting to help Gregory, your vision begins to static. A giggle comes from behind the corner as Vanny pushes a button and all 3 of the anamatronics start to fritz out-like Freddy did when Afton took control-and one of the anamatronics tell you to run. (I could see Chica doing the whole "Attention all cu-cu-customers. Please heads towards the nearest fi-fi-re es-cape escape escape escape es-es-es-es-es) In which they all start to chase you down as you rush back out and towards the backstage area.
Once you get past the Repair Freddy scene, he doesn't seem like he wants to kill the anamatronics as much as he used to, but feels like he might not have a choice seeing what Vanny did to them. From this point, the anamatronics don't talk, and if they do it's garbled and distorted, and Vanny is much more of a threat as an active persuer.
When you get to where you'd normally kill Chica, Vanny is the one chasing you. When you get to the garbage disposal, Vanny looks right at you and throws the Monty's Mystery Mix into the dumpster. When Chica rushes toward it, Vanny is simply staring at you and turns it on while taking a step back in a way that is almost asking you to _do something_ about it-it's less of a showmanship of care and more like a taunt.
If you run away, it leads to a dead end where Vanny captures you, but instead of killing you she throws you into the dumpster on top of Chica's mangled body, and she falls on top of you forcing you to interact with her in order to get her off which also forces you to rip out her voice box and puts you on the normal path again (Albeit with some unique dialogue).
However, instead of the giant bar being there and blocking it, you are able to _push it_ into the crusher which stops the top crusher from falling down which saves Chica from a much heavier hit, but you're unable to get her out before the 2nd one comes and does some severe damage. Since you were pulling her arm to try and get her out, her hand ends up clamping onto yours and pulling you into the trash area with her.
At this point, you fall _near_ her but _away from her._ If you hover over her it simply says "Take voice box...?" but... you don't have to.
You can just walk away.
This causes the main person to come attack you to be Vanny once again, coming own to make sure the job was finished.
However, Chica took a severe fall... but not merely as bad as she did before since she didn't get double-crushed and simply got one heavy crush. Thus, when she falls down here, she ends up rebooting into safe mode.
This is kinda the point where I stopped... but I like the idea that when you go back to get them so you can repair them, Freddy takes their gifts because they ended up being curses.
Freddy takes Chica's voice, so she can sing again. Her voice causes errors and bugs and glitches and with it she can't sing... so he takes that burden upon himself.
Roxy always feels like she's being watched because she can see everyone through the walls, and by taking them she'll be able to take that mental tax off her mind.
Monty... not as sure. Possibly he would give you his hands willingly as a showmanship of respect towards Freddy. Possibly giving it to him when he says he can't be the singer anymore by telling him "Well, we still need someone to play base guitar, right? These claws should do the trick."
I don't entirely know how/where to go from here, but this video reminded me of this idea a lot and struck a cord with me.
I dunno if anyone's gonna read this shitty little pseudo fan-fic, but I always really wanted to see a pacifist route and... I was really sad to see how human they were and how we couldn't do anything to help any of them. It seems I was not alone in this, many people have made many cute animations and comics where they were the ones who saved you.
I hope to see something like that in the future.

I really wish this was a ending to the game. Just imagine where Gregory fixes Chica, Monty, and Roxanne than became friends. That's the ending that I really would love to see!

Considering how this stuff has exploded, I'd be surprised if the Devs aren't considering a 'pacifist' option.

I wouldn't mind Gregory knocking the animatronics around, but yah, considering that they were hacked into attacking him, and Freddy says they are his friends, I wonder if they really are good. It just makes me feel bad that we HAVE to badly damage them in the game, So I'd love if they eventually added an alternate ending where you don't have to badly damage them. Besides, after playing through the game, Freddy realistically doesn't need all the upgrades if Gregory's just looking to simply escape.
What Gregory did to all these animators are exceptionally brutal. And I know it was because they were all trying to kill him, but it just doesn't seem fair when they weren't in control of their actions. They were designed to entertain kids, not kill them. I'm pretty sure they would be horrified by their actions.

@@airtiger4577 It's because the game is unfinished. With every ending there are massive loose ends. You deal with Afton, there is still Vanny. You deal with Vanny, there is still Afton. People want a real "true ending."
Now what would make sense is a dlc involving the Princess Quest ending. Set it a few days or weeks later and have Gregory, Vanny, and Freddy go back to the Pizzaplex to deal with Afton and rebuilt versions of the old animatronics. Since Freddy is just a head now you have to get upgrades some other way to survive and stop Afton. They can make it so the player can incapacitate or find the Glamrock cast to repair them and use them as help instead of Freddy. Eventually Freddy can get a new body, but it wouldn't be til endgame, making the dlc harder due to not being able to hide inside Freddy for most of it. The game could also be creepier due to having to deal with more paranormal elements again (the original cast brought back) instead of just advanced animatronics infected by Glitchtrap. People would probably love to play a more scary version of the game alongside their favorite Glamrock animatronic. Within this idea there could even be sections where you play as either Vanny or Gregory. It would not even be hard to program for multiple guardian characters, just change the button to be held down and allow selection of which one you want to summon.
@@airtiger4577 Notice that I included Vanny in my dlc idea for a reason. Only the Princess Quest ending would work for this. Gregory might not be able to, but Vanny more than likely can, considering all the tampering she has done and how she was able to help resurrect Afton.
@@airtiger4577 Doesn't mean she doesn't have the knowledge still in her head on how to do everything. We just don't know. Honestly the game loves to be aloof with the lore. We still don't even really know if the rooftop escape ending showed if Vanessa and Vanny are twins or that was just her spirit atop the burning Pizzaplex. The tapes don't even help with that; just make it more uncertain. Steel Wool could easily just make her still know how to do everything by making her lucid while being controlled, just unable to resist.
You know, I could see how you could do this mechanically - the damaged Chica escape section could change so that Vanny would be roaming alone, and for the Monty Golf return you'd have to call Freddy to carry the torso (since Gregory couldn't really walk him out). Meaning you can't hide in Freddy until you repair Monty, all while dodging Vanny. This would give Vanny more of a presence while making a new challenge for players going for nicer endings.
(Edit: Roxy's damaged escape section is too tight and reliant on a blind enemy for Vanny to be balanced, so she can sit that one out. And give the player a deserved breather. Just have Gregory mention the doors blocking their way and let Roxy smash them down.)
And perhaps for the sake of keeping the progression system intact, the Fazwatch gains new button summons for each Fazmember. Not sure how you handle Roxy's special eyes except to summon and follow her to secrets (like the discs that require her eyes).
That could work also hiding from vanny would not work I actually saw a vid where she pulled Gregory from Freddy

I just love it I can't even believe anyone would actually make Gregory care for chica once in a while but I love the animation and it's quite nice how he actually repaired her I mean Gregory gets supplies super fast and the ending was super adorable great job

The story here is that after the damage was done, William found no use in Chica and so she became a good animatronic after William stopped controlling her. She didn't understand why she was broken down in some dirty place, and assumed she was scrapped. In her final few moments, Gregory found her and offered to repair her. Later on, Chica is repaired and no longer evil. :))))
I suppose she could show us how to get out of the garbage level.

I was really hoping for a pacifist route where you could somehow befriend the animatronics and save them from Vanny.
Horror games can only be tragic for so long before it gets stale. At some point you have to give characters a happy ending. Saving the animatronics is the future of Fnaf to finally put an end to the nightmare
Tbh, I kinda want this to happen. Even for William as well (There's a good fanfic based on if he redeemed himself). Honestly, FNAF doesn't seem to be going for that same horror anymore so this could, if executed well, signify FNAF's finale. From hostile, to nice.

I absolutely would love the idea that after Gregory defeats them, they regain their original docile programming and Gregory patches them up once he realizes they’re no longer a threat.

Imagine if while she was in that compactor and squashed her head, it practically caused her systems to crash and reboot after falling into the chute, thus causing her to wake up with “safe mode” overriding her systems, which is also why Freddy is friendly towards Gregory

Yay, Monty is next. Gonna see a not-so-gentle guy be desperate enough to not harm Gregory. Even though the animatronics aren’t more inclined to hurt people, especially kids, I feel they still can get angry from time to time.
Someone definitely loves the video. In the case of Chica, one would think she'd just taken the role because we as fans would think the animatronics are to root against regardless. But given a taste of her personality and how we feel almost sorry for Chica (Even though she tends to insult players during pursuits), it just goes to show that she's just as much a favorite as other long-standing animatronics as Chica and Roxy. But seeing her liking these videos that support Chica as a sympathetic character she must feel rather touched.
Makes a few players regret having to steal parts from these animatronics to give Freddy a boost when we could merely have the option to reboot these animatronics, even making additional repairs, so this way not only do they revert back to their original programming but they themselves can use their abilities to benefit for us (Even helping us deal with those annoying security bots).
In another video, someone sugested that if you could fix/reboot the animatronics you could change one of the ending into something more wholesome

I love these types of videos so much. I wish these were part of the game, like a secret ending to unlock when repairing all animatronics, to make Freddy feel better. How this would happen is Gregory leads them to the upgrade room and incapacitates them.
With the help of the automated voice and Freddy, Gregory could repair all animatronics by fixing them and freeing them from the control of Vanny/Afton.
i imagine more them as alternative ways in the game
In all honestly, this is *EXACTLY* what I want for all 3 hacked animatronics of FNAFSB. It pains my heart that there's simply no other way in the game than just to cause them more pain they DO NOT DESERVE.
