I’ve owned two Mazda CX-5’s. They are very good vehicles, but the piano black surfaces in the interiors I had on both (2013 and 2017 top end models ) were hard to keep clean in the desert, and overall it was a rather tight interior. Very reliable though. As far as Hyundai and Kia goes, I’ll stay clear. Too many issues you hear about with blown engines. Perfectly happy with my 2023 RAV4 XLE. I’ve always appreciated that Toyota employs both direct inject and port inject technology. Reduces carbon buildup on the valves.

Mazda CX5 good vehicle had both CX5 and CX30, the CX5 not as comfortable seating position as the Rav4 nor is the center console as ergonomic.

@@fredsausage8794 I agree. The lack of a touchscreen on the infotainment system in those model years made navigating very awkward

Our Rav TRD OR has been a very good driver although it would be advantageous to have more low end torque. The 2025 model will be a the next generation, hopefully some info will be released soon. Mazda CX50 another good vehicle, rides stiffer than the Rav 4 and seats are not as comfortable in my opinion.

The RAV4 is number 1. It’s the best in its class by far. The others have DI only, CVTs, or are from historically unreliable brands.
