The Lina wreck is situated on Cres island in Kvarner Bay. It was a British ship built in 1879 in Newcastle, Great Britain. It was 70m/229ft long, 9m/29ft wide with 1049 BRT. On January 14th, 1914 it lost its course because of a heavy fog, struck the rocky cost of Cres Island and sunk quickly. At the time of the accident, Lina was carrying wood from Rijeka to Italy. The average depth of the site is 18m/59 ft with max depth at 55m/180ft.
