I remember seeing a video of an engie in a public lobby doing the drillevator skip solo. He tunneled right to the geode and looted everything while everyone else was doing the mission normally. It was amazing.
Very cool. Loved your study of all of this as well, and it's cool to see that it played out well. And watching this, I don't know if three or four would buy you anything if the Engie could escape using RJ.

@@RyeorRealI think with a good seed where you can start digging very low and with the right perks it should be faster but I'm not good enough to prove it. The dig by itself is ab the length of the drillevator if not more so I hear, but it'd be an interesting experiment. But again great run congrats!
my strat for drillevator skip is getting a driller, and an engineer similiar to this but we dig in a screw type tunnel down to the geode, then a engi will plat through the geode
Perhaps it is. Even in jest it was naive to think the category was dead with this run before anyone had made any submissions. I was surprised by how fast the run was which lead me to make that statement. Having rewatched the run from both perspectives, there are several things that we can improve on, and we intend to iron those out in a legitimate run hopefully sometime soon.

I tried doing this one time, i got the seeds but i couldnt call the pod and i had to finnish the mission like normal.
