I can't stand when he waves at the crowd after every trick. So corny, and then he like nods his head when he gets a 9, and his self celebrates after he does a trick. Pretty much his whole attitude, and body language sucks. It's like he has no self awareness.

Out of curiosity, why do you hate on these shoes? I never had one because it's impossible to find here in EU but I would pick one up only because it's a vegan skate shoe.
@@JazzMachine77 man I saw here in Spain some guy with cariumas and I thought "he must be below 12yo" but he was older, maybe 20 or something like that idk. Cariumas are not ok skate shoes. Apart from the critisism they get for being opportunistic (watch the channel "gifted hater") they're so ugly and I just associate them to kids that see influencers doing a treflip and admire them and therefore they buy their same shoes
@@rubytuesday7716 I saw that video and I agree in some degree, however, there are some other brands that have a very aggressive marketing campaigns, for example, Nike. In that video the dude points out that Cariuma sponsor only competition skaters, but Nike basically sponsor everyone, including the most douche bag skaters in the world, sell their shoes really expensive and everyone is ok with that. I personally think that the shoe is ok, and it looks like any other skate show, the logo on the side is very ugly, but I like the fact that is vegan. Unfortunately, skateboarding is really mainstream nowadays, I mean, there are pro skaters sponsored by Ralf fucking Lauren, WTF!

It's not about him doing them all the time, it's the pressure and the skill to do it when it's needed. If you watched the whole contest their are skaters that use up multiple tries to do one trick. I think his scores were well deserved imo.
Same with Nyjah, especially with Nyjah
