@@nedmode9412 DEMOCRATS have never been Americans - - - In 1981 Biden said in a Senate hearing, “sometimes even George Wallace is right about some things.” Wallace is famous for saying in 1963, “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”[187] Biden read the "N" word into the Congressional Record during an open hearing in 1986.[188] In a farewell address to retiring Democrat segregationist Sen. John Stennis, Biden said:
"To think that I would be one day on the floor of the United States Senate, being paid such accolades by such a man of character and courage as John Stennis is beyond my wildest dreams. And I mean that sincerely."[189]
When Biden announced his candidacy Politico attempted to poo-poo and explain away Biden and liberal Democrat racism with a back-handed slap at school vouchers for minority students, which liberal elites have strenuously opposed ever since the Biden Amendment passed:
School desegregation, as part of a broader suite of civil rights reforms, was once as a vital component of the Democratic Party platform. Yet since the 1970s, Democrats, in the face of concerted white backlash, have largely accommodated themselves to increasing segregation in public schools across the nation. Party leaders, even the most progressive among them, rarely propose serious solutions to this vexing problem. A sincere critique of Biden’s busing record would require a broader reckoning of the Democratic Party’s-and by extension the nation’s-abandonment of this central goal of the civil rights movement. And it’s hard to see that happening anytime soon.

      FAIR Take | June 2024
A new audit conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG), found that California improperly claimed billions of dollars in federal reimbursements to pay for the health care of illegal aliens enrolled in the state’s Medicaid program. Whether intentional or accidental, the state must repay the federal government a whopping $52.7 million. It may also be required to pay back money the federal government has given California in previous years.
Medicaid, which pays the health care costs of individuals below a certain income level, is jointly run by the federal government and the states. States submit a Quarterly Medicaid Statement of Expenditures to claim Federal reimbursement for each quarter. The federal government reimburses states a certain percentage of the total expenditures, which is calculated on multiple criteria designed to determine the share fairly attributable to the state versus the federal government. However, under the laws governing Medicaid, the federal government will only reimburse states for the emergency treatment of illegal aliens; in general, it will not reimburse for non-emergency care of illegal aliens. California must use state dollars to pay for non-emergency Medicaid services provided to illegal aliens.

On average, revenues increased $205 billion per year over CBO’s projections.
In the first two years after passage of the Trump tax cuts, GDP growth was a full percentage point higher than CBO’s pre-TCJA forecast.
According to the White House Office of Management and Budget, every additional one percent of sustained GDP growth will result in $600 billion in new revenues over 5 years and $2.8 trillion over 10 years.
Following passage of the Trump tax cuts…
Real median household income rose by $5,000 - a bigger increase in just two years than in the prior eight years combined.
Wages increased 4.9 percent, the fastest two-year growth in real wages in 20 years.
The poverty rate and unemployment rate reached their lowest levels in 50 years, with all-time lows in unemployment among African American and Hispanic workers, and those without a high-school degree.
The bottom 20 percent of earners saw their federal tax rate fall to its lowest level in 40 years.
Americans earning under $100,000 received an average tax cut of 16 percent.

A family of five with two earners making around $100,000 will owe an additional nearly $7,500 in taxes.
The Child Tax Credit will be slashed in half from $2,000 down to $1,000.
The guaranteed deduction that 90 percent of taxpayers use to simplify their tax filing will be slashed in half.
The 20 percent deduction that helps small businesses compete with larger corporations goes away leaving small businesses facing a 43.4 percent tax rate.

For fiscal year 2023, CBO under projected the budget deficit by $1 trillion.

Trump joked about not wanting members of the crowd to leave, claiming he didn't care about them, only their vote. The crowd met this with laughter. The more complete quote is as follows:
And by the way, isn't that breeze nice? Do you feel the breeze? Cause I don't want anybody going on me, we need every voter. I don't care about you, I just want your vote. I don't care. See now the press will take that, they'll say he said a horrible thing.

Yet we continue to insist that the function of prison is to rehabilitate, not punish. I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace - someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right”[179]

@@djknockinbeats5092 YA FAIL AGAIN at facts, buddy - - - In 1972 Biden re-cycled the racist rhetoric of John C. Calhoun, arguing that school segregation was a "positive good" for Blacks. Calhoun famously laid out his doctrine of separation of the races as a civilizing force among Blacks which became Democrat talking points before the Dred Scott decision, throughout the Civil War, Reconstruction, the Jim Crow era, and the New Deal. In a Democrat filibuster on the floor of the Senate, Calhoun famously said:
"I hold that in the present state of civilization, where two races of different origin, and distinguished by color, and other physical differences, as well as intellectual, are brought together, the relation now existing in the slaveholding States between the two, is, instead of an evil, a good-a positive good."
Biden resurrected the idea that segregation was "for their own good" and that Blacks were grateful for it.
“I think the concept of busing … that we are going to integrate people so that they all have the same access and they learn to grow up with one another and all the rest, is a rejection of the whole movement of black pride, a rejection of the entire black awareness concept, where black is beautiful, black culture should be studied; and the cultural awareness of the importance of their own identity, their own individuality.”[176]
In the 21st century Biden tried to separate himself from his previous racist statements on school integration:

OE BIDEN’S GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT
SUBMITTED BY CHRISTIAN ON WED, 01/24/2024 - 16:25
Passed the $ 1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package t increase investment in the national network of bridges and roads, airports, public transport, electric vehicles, low emission public and low emission public transportation, power infrastructure, and clean water.
Helped get more than 500 million life-saving COVID-19 vaccinations in the arms of Americans through the American Rescue Plan. President Biden fought for and signed the American Rescue Plan which protected workers’ pensions, provided funding to communities and businesses devastated by COVID-19, lowered or eliminated insurance premiums for millions of lower- and middle-income families, provided funds for affordable housing, provided money for public safety and crime reduction, provided support to small business, expanded food assistance programs in homes and schools, expanded child care programs, invested in mental health and health care centers, added $40 billion for investing in American workers, provided funding to the economies of tribal nations, and supported families with children. Child poverty has already been cut in half as a result of his efforts.
Stopped a 30-year streak of federal inaction on gun violence by signing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act that created enhanced background checks, closed the “boyfriend” loophole, and provided funds for youth mental health. The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act provides incentives for states to pass red flag laws, expands the law that prevents people convicted of domestic abuse from gun ownership, expands background checks on young people between 18 and 21 who want to buy a gun, and allocates funds for the mental health of young people.
Made a $369 billion investment in climate change, the largest in American history, through the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The goal is to reduce greenhouse emissions by 40% in the next seven years and promote clean energy technologies, moving the country to greater self-sufficiency in energy production.
Ended the longest war in American history by pulling the troops out of Afghanistan. Over 120,000 people were safely evacuated, double the number calculated by the most optimistic experts.
Provided $10,000 to $20,000 in college debt relief to Americans with loans who make under $125,000 a year. This was struck down by the Supreme Court, however, the administration has announced a new plan to forgive billions in loans that were qualified under special programs but not done due to DOE mismanagement in previous years.
Cut child poverty in half through the American Rescue Plan.
Capped prescription drug prices at $2,000 per year for seniors on Medicare through the Inflation Reduction Act. The Inflation Reduction Act, makes health insurance plans more affordable, lowers drug costs, prevents millions of Americans from losing their Affordable Care Act insurance, and requires Medicare to negotiate the cost of 10 high-cost prescription drugs.
Passed the COVID-19 relief deal that provided payments of up to $1,400 to many struggling U.S. citizens while supporting renters and increasing unemployment benefits.
Achieved historically low unemployment rates after the pandemic caused them to skyrocket.
Imposed a 15% minimum corporate tax on some of the largest corporations in the country, ensuring that they pay their fair share, as part of the historic Inflation Reduction Act.
Recommitted America to the global fight against climate change by rejoining the Paris Agreement.
Strengthened the NATO alliance in support of Ukraine after the Russian invasion by endorsing the inclusion of world military powers Sweden and Finland. He successfully led the free world by lobbying NATO and other allies to add their financial and military support.
Authorized the assassination of the Al Qaeda terrorist Ayman al-Zawahiri, who became head of the organization after the death of Osama bin Laden.
Gave Medicare the power to negotiate prescription drug prices through the Inflation Reduction Act while also reducing government health spending.
Held Vladimir Putin accountable for his invasion of Ukraine by imposing stiff economic sanctions.
Boosted the budget of the Internal Revenue Service by nearly $80 billion to reduce tax evasion and increase revenue.
He brought the unemployment rate down to 3.8%. Biden’s administration has added 13.2 million jobs since he came into office, replacing all of the jobs that were lost at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Today there are more people in America working today than ever before!
Reduced healthcare premiums under the Affordable Care Act by $800 a year as part of the American Rescue Plan.
Signed the PACT Act to address service members’ exposure to burn pits and other toxins.
Signed the CHIPS and Science Act providing funding to produce semiconductor chips for automobiles, cellphones, laptops, gaming consoles, washing machines, etc. here in the Unites States rather than continuing to rely on China.
Reestablishment of respect among US allies on the world stage. Reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act through 2027, the Respect for Marriage Act, pardoning those convicted of simple marijuana possession, appointing Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (the first Black woman on the Supreme Court), forgiving certain student loans, and electoral reforms to ensure that election results are not undermined.
Halted all federal executions after the previous administration reinstated them after a 17-year freeze
He signed the Postal Service Reform Act to modernize and stabilize the U.S. Post Office and also to help it continue to deliver mail six days every week, focusing on on-time delivery.
He instituted an executive order raising standards for law enforcement agencies, with particular emphasis on use-of-force policies, availability of body cameras, and recruitment and retention of officers.

In 1981 Biden said in a Senate hearing, “sometimes even George Wallace is right about some things.” Wallace is famous for saying in 1963, “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”[187] Biden read the "N" word into the Congressional Record during an open hearing in 1986.[188] In a farewell address to retiring Democrat segregationist Sen.
And it’s hard to see that happening anytime soon

@@yayamoviereview3438 thanks for the CRT NO FACTS OR EVIDENCE claim ... ya never disappoint - - - On May 15, 1972, the man Martin Luther King Jr. once called the “most dangerous racist in America” stepped up to the podium at a suburban Washington, D.C. shopping center. The governor of Alabama and an ardent segregationist, George Wallace was in Laurel, Maryland, campaigning to become the Democratic nominee for president. He fired up the crowd by railing against busing and the elite, continuing his long-standing tactic of stirring up fears among “forgotten” white Americans. The attack marked a turning point in the life of America’s most notorious segregationist, a man who had sent armed state troopers to attack civil rights marchers and ordered police to close down the state’s public schools rather than submit to federally ordered integration. Shot five times, Wallace was paralyzed from the waist down. Chronic pain and complications stemming from the shooting prevented him from fulfilling his presidential ambitions, though he did mount a final bid for the nomination in 1976. “When I was growing up in Alabama, George Wallace was considered the devil,” says Maurice Hobson, a historian at Georgia State University, where he specializes in African American studies. “There’s no excuse for what he did. And the fact that he could use segregation as an opportunity [to gain political power] made him even more evil.”
