Simple Cottage Kitchen Makeover Update | How to install beadboard backsplash |

In this video, I show you how to install beadboard backsplash to add cottage style to the kitchen with a step-by-step tutorial. It was easy and added charm and character to our European cottage kitchen. I love it! It's absolutely beautiful!
However there is one big safety thing you need to consider when using beadboard as your backsplash in the kitchen.
We thought we had it all figured out, but then after we got started we discovered to stay within budget we had to change up our original plans.

How wonderful! It looks so nice. I can see how tricky that last piece would be to install. I am also amazed that with such an old house you didn’t run into an issue of the wall not being square. The bead board would make me smile every morning when I walked into my kitchen! I’m so happy for you.

On the blog I talked about it more, but the walls were definitely not square. I shared a picture over there that shows the drastic slant in the ceiling on the wall with the window hahaha I noticed it one day while we were carrying boxes in the house and just started busting out laughing.
