『平和の祈りをこめて』( Live Peace in Toronto 1969)は、ジョン・レノンとオノ・ヨーコ率いるザ・プラスティック・オノ・バンドが1969年に発表したライブ・アルバムです。
同年9月13日にカナダのトロントで開催された『トロント・ロックンロール・リバイバル』でMoneyが演奏され収録されています。
ザ・プラスティック・オノ・バンドのメンバーはレノン（ヴォーカル、ギター）、ヨーコ（ヴォーカル）、クラウス・フォアマン（ベース）、アラン・ホワイト（ドラム、数年後Yesに加入）、エリック・クラプトン（ギター）である。
収録曲8曲のうち、3曲がカバー、1曲がビートルズの楽曲である。
「冷たい七面鳥」と「京子ちゃん心配しないで」は当日の演奏が初演の新曲で、数週間後にクラプトンらとスタジオでレコーディングされ、本作が発表される前の同年10月にシングルの両面に収録されて発表された。
ザ・プラスティック・オノ・バンドは急ごしらえの編成だったので、
彼等はトロントに行く前にはリハーサル時間を全く取れず、飛行機の中で知っている曲を探して簡単な音合わせを行なってから本番に臨んだ。演奏曲の半分をカバー曲が占めるのはそのためである。ホワイトはレノンを名乗る人物に電話で「先日、君の演奏を見た。明日移動してカナダでライヴをやるんだけど、俺のバンドで叩かないか？」と言われ、誰かのいたずらだろうと思いながらも翌日ヒースロー空港のVIPラウンジに行くと、そこには本物がクラプトンと彼を待っていたという。機内でレノンとクラプトンがギターを弾き、彼はドラムのスティックで座席の背もたれを叩いてリハーサルをした。
Live Peace in Toronto 1969 is a live album released in 1969 by The Plastic Ono Band, led by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
The album features Money, performed at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival, held in Toronto, Canada on September 13 of that year.
The members of The Plastic Ono Band are Lennon (vocals, guitar), Yoko (vocals), Klaus Voormann (bass), Alan White (drums, who joined Yes a few years later), and Eric Clapton (guitar).
Of the eight songs on the album, three are covers and one is a Beatles song.
"Cold Turkey" and "Don't Worry, Kyoko-chan" are new songs that were first performed on the day, and were recorded in a studio with Clapton and others a few weeks later, and released on both sides of a single in October of the same year, before the release of this album.
The Plastic Ono Band was a hastily organized band, so they had no time to rehearse before going to Toronto, and they searched for familiar songs on the plane and did a quick tuning before going on stage. That's why half of the songs they performed were covers. White received a phone call from someone claiming to be Lennon, who said, "I saw you play the other day. I'm going to Canada tomorrow and I'm going to play a show in Canada. Would you like to play with my band?" He thought it was a prank, but when he went to the VIP lounge at Heathrow Airport the next day, the real Clapton was waiting for him and Lennon. Lennon and Clapton played guitars on the plane, and Clapton rehearsed by hitting the back of the seat with his drum stick. - เพลง
