Staying in Hollywood soon and snagged tickets for usd75 each. I agree by British standards its a lot but its run by Marriott. I'm sure it will be well maintained and run. Should be fun.
$500 for a puny little waterpark? Sound more like they want to limit the amount of people visiting so that it can be enjoyed by guests staying at the resort.

next time you guys go to Pennsylvania go to great wolf lodge in the Poconos they made the waterpark bigger and added 6 new waterslides

Miami seriously lacks in terms of water parks, although that’s quite understandable as there are a lot of hurricanes.
That and how far is Orlando from Miami?
You do have Rapids Water[ark which is around 45 minutes north.
