Great build brotha I've been experimenting trying to find a good mix between PDR and speed but you seemed to of found the perfect combo for under 124. Cheers my Crusading brotha!
@@xReifox the first attribute level of will that gives you a negative debuff duration is at 16. So if you get 16 will you get -1% debuff duration(which is a positive thing for us) and it will remove a single tick of DoT damage. Zap for instance deals 20 damage a a single burn tick if the wizard doesn’t have staff mastery. Having 16 will would remove that single burn tick
Counter attack is pretty crucial to hitting anyone that knows how to avoid longsword ripostes. Hard to fit it into a build now after the changes to weapon mastery and bows
For this build I think I'd likely run Shield Mastery, Swift, Weapon Mastery. Then a flex perk. I think it's too good to have full damage bows/windlass on fighter now with the change to weapon mastery.
I mostly watch your videos instead of streams, but do you ever run other weapons? I'm fairly new but I enjoy using the halberd, despite being almost unusable in smaller spaces and slow I find that people do not respect the range it has whatsoever, especially the alt-attack sweeps that give you even more range. It also lets you breeze through all the pve with double-taps without any real risk outside of my own mistakes like being greedy and trying to get hits in.
I haven't in a long while now on stream. I played barb off stream last wipe during multiclass as well as spear only ranger and such. Tempted to do a spear video tho in the near future since I still enjoy that weapon quite a bit. Halberd has been rough in PvP for awhile now in geared matches, but if you're having fun/success keep rollin with it man!
@@oggieson Yeah, I'm mostly in 0-24 bracket with occasional dips into higher pools. I imagine HR people are a lot more aware of each weapons ranges and animations so worse performing weapons are much much rarer to see. I'm mostly getting by because the people I engage are likely more scared of PvP than me.
Nothing wrong with windlass dude. Love the weapon. If you can fit weapon mastery on the build without sacrificing too many stats through the other perks full send!
Watching this on 0.25 speed just made me realise how terrible the parry hitboxes are. The longsword in first clip is not even touching the axe, yet it parries both swings. I love DaD, but parry mech is just terrible at its current state and completely unfair. Not only the user has to learn those illogical hitboxes, but those who play against it also basically throw a dice if they get destroyed or not
Yeah that's dsync more so than hitbox issues. On his screen I'm in range and being hit that's why the parry goes off. There are definitely scuffed hitboxes tho don't get me wrong
Wait I'm confused. Literally 80% of the playerbase that has played throughout all of early access plays the normal mode and the under 25gs mode. There's a massive amount of veteran players in the normal queues because they're the most fun queues. I'm just supposed to not play the fun part of the game cuz there's some new players occasionally in my matches? Like, I'm playing solo in duos and solo in trios queues at a massive disadvantage usually and people still say all I'm doing is fighting new players when only one of the fights in this entire video is new players even lol.
Hey, longsword guy, been playing since 2nd playtest. It's very easy to not kill new players honestly. Every single one of them I see I give every opportunity possible to not fight me (in voice, surrender emote, dropping gear to them, etc). It's usually pretty obvious who is a vet and who is new just by watching them play the game for a couple seconds. Normals is definitely hella fun but If I do go into those lobbies I just hunt the pub stompers in over 25. Going under 25gs lobbies as a vet if you play the game relatively often is really weird to me and I never understood it. Completely different story if you only play 1 - 2 times a week.

Most people that have played this long are sick of the piss poor balance gear brings to the game with Ironmaces inability to balance it well. Regardless, for every new player kill I show there’s 10 more that I don’t and spend entire matches literally walking people through and voiping teaching people about the game. Y’all are wild with this nonsense stance about never touching new players and acting holy than thou when it comes to how you interact with them. This is literally the only game I’ve ever seen this in lol
As the new player you're all talking about, I strictly don't want to be babysitted nor protected by the most experienced players. DnD ultimately is about PvP and if you're never fighting the people who actually understand the game, you don't learn shit. I got a lot of vets telling me in voip ''don't do it man I'm chill'' they refuse to attack me and I don't listen, and I usually get bodied by them. That's entirely fine, that's the game, you won't learn shit by avoiding good players and farming gear. Give us new players a solid ass whooping so that we can give it back to you later on.

@@bignose2805 if you reduce the duration of a dot by having -1% debuff duration it will fall off before dealing its final tick of damage.

So there are 3 gear score brackets now for normals since the game went to F2P. Under 25. 25-124. Over 125
