I am on your lessons page right now. What is the actual tune you based this on? At 5:17. Would like to work on that. I only see the pdf of the etude exercise.
@@JBanchiere Hi Jeremy! The tune is Murphy´s Hornpipe, and it´s published October 6th, so I will have to ask you to be a bit patient! A good time to work on the triplets. :-)
@@MandolinSecrets Thank you, yes I understand, for the moment the first I described is easier for me. I will try yours which seems better for fast playing.
Are you used to playing triplets in your fiddle tunes? Is that something you find easy or something you are struggling with?

Excellently demonstrated
I am totally struggling with triplets . I've watched lots of videos but this was the best for me because it was clear and simple.
Tried this today. Just started to getting a hold of it.
Beautiful foot tapping music
Yeah, stomp music!
Hello Magnus, Is the pattern : [nv nv nvn nv] valid instead of [nv nn vnv nv] ?
I find the ladder better. Gives you more time for the double down somehow.

I have been playing triplets at DUD but ill have to give this a shot
Muito bom. Obrigado
yes very difficult to play fast and especially triplets. Thanks for this good lesson
When picking, say D chord, it over laps with A chord. How to avoid it.
Am trying it. Slowly getting there. But not like you 🙂
