If you never grew up in this era of dancehall, you wouldn't understand. Bailey is not only one of the best DJs with hits after hits, the man is an ENTERTAINER!! The FIRST DJ to bridge the gap between dancehall and soca, and don't even mention his success as a football coach! Big up and bless up Admiral! 🔥🔥🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 Despite all the hits, my favorite Bailey tune is 'news flash time' 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember Bailey and chaca demuss doing doing one scotch at the intersection off Chisholm Avenue and Maxfield Avenue live on jamming sound in 1986 them time Bailey was skinny fellow
Just look at these performances of the 80's, and 90's. No one blowing those disgusting horns, and no cell phones distracting anyone. Everyone dancing and enjoying themselves, and able to hear what the entertainer is saying. I'm glad I was at some of those Admiral Bailey performances, at Jammy's, Sunsplash, and Fort Clarence.
Grew up during the 80s and 90s heyday of Dancehall Reggae. This man was churning hits upon hits upon hits during his run within the Dancehall fraternity. Bailey was right in that King Jammy$ documentary. If he would have Trademarked the word "Punany", and "licensed" it. He would have made even more $$$$$$
Its me again, yo brethern. You should do a video piece focusing on some good books that cover Reggae and Dancehall. Like The Encyclopedia of Reggae by Mike Alleyne, and The Rough Guide to Reggae 3rd edition by Steve Barrow and Peter Dalton. Both good reads 👍🏽
He is using the term used in horse racing, at two years old the horses started their racing career so he wanted a young girl who just reach the age of consent
I like Admiral music but I think Jammy favouritism him too much on the sound. Tonto Irie was the man on Jammys sound but sir Tonto in a separate corner anyways💯

@@martybosen3304 Highly doubtful.
As much as he is a great Artist, I can't understand how what he is going to do with a two year old. I can't figure this out

@pablot7049 the comparison is not inline though. Its not explanatory. Not everyone is going to see it that way. It just sounds a way
@mrlogicalboy8313 I know, but back in the days it was understandable
I was just wondering this same thing😮, smh

@@Mr-DowNBeat Admiral Bailey was Jammys marquee artist. It's similar to say Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
