Hey could you help me with something please. At work we keep getting AC power loss trouble but don’t know what it is… it will come on every few days and in between says all systems good…
AC power loss means that the panel lost 120V ac power. What this could mean is that the breaker your panel is on either got tripped or there was a power outage.
@@Roxxofoxxo I left out critical info sorry… so the power hasn’t gone out any of the times it happens and I’m getting 119.5V and the ac led is solid green…
I’m experiencing some trouble conditions on the 6820 fire panel, even though some devices have been programmed and function before, they’re now showing up as missing. Any tips to ease the stress???
You just daisy chain. Just skip to 27:15 it's the same way you would wire a smoke and pull, you just daisy chain. Do you have discord? I'll be able to explain it better on there.
If a notification appliance is removed off of the base the panel would go into trouble for an open circuit That is why the resitor is there so the panel can make sure all devices are on the circuit

is the phone line the dialer?
You can connect it to a cellular dialer or directly to a phone line via the top terminals
Idk which ones tho
@@Roxxofoxxo oh, ok
@@SytenixRBX Yea
Theres no phone line jack
You connect it directly to the terminals meant for a phone line
Presently I’m working on a 6820. I’m having some trouble with adding devices (SD 505) can you shed some light??
Perhaps try jumpstart programming to add the device
Beautiful, ok are there any steps achieve the jumpstart?

Perhaps try restarting the panel
If that doesn't work maybe the devices need to be replaced
I did a factory Factory default sent back the program and results was the same. I’m going to have I’ll recommend That they get 60.
How to replace and program SD505 smoke detector (system panel is 5820XL)

how would i wire multiple pulls to the SLC? i may be getting one of these soon so
would i just do it in parallel on the same terminal?

@@Roxxofoxxo yes, and i think we’ve talked there before
Hola cómo borrar un dispositivo de la programación muy bueno el vídeo ojalá respondas.
You know I usually wonder why we need a resistor on Initiating Device Circuit, is it because there is no wiring there so you add a resistor?
Resitors are for monitoring conventional circuits to monitor for a missing device
@@Roxxofoxxo What do you mean by that?
If a notification appliance is removed off of the base the panel would go into trouble for an open circuit
That is why the resitor is there so the panel can make sure all devices are on the circuit
@@Roxxofoxxo Oh okay, thanks for your honesty.

My school has this panel!
I wish I had a 5820XL
Same lol
you should ask firetech for one XD
@@Roxxofoxxo I don’t think he would give me one. I would have to trade a Panel and I’m broke.
