It’s videos like this, that’s the reason why NG+ is a nightmare in this game, bosses have been given new move sets and double the health while they nerfed boss weapons and sorceries, thanks for helping destroy an otherwise fairly decent game.
Update today completely wrecked this build. Took my explosive arrows feom 1060 attack power to like 368. That's after upgrading the crossbow to +10, when the old limit was +5 on boss weapons. Looks like they nerfed bolt damage and +damage % stacking for ranged. Also made each shot cost more. Update cut my damage by 2/3 and there's no apparent way to get it back. Increased per-shot ammo usage from 3 to 10 on explosive bolts, lol. Absolutely zaps hp if using the wither ammo eye.
I already finnished the game before this was popular. You basically start with any other crossbow, and change to bow in a meantime. For me personally better is repeating crossbow found in mines.
Im not one of these "youre not suppose to play souls or souls like this way or that way" I feel you pay the money play it like you want...with that said why would anybody wanna play this game like that.. no challenge and you just sit there and shoot a crossbow to each his own but that just seems boring to me...
I ran a similar build on my NG+3 multiple bosses I could stagger lock, it was a complete joke… I’m playing around with a strength build at the moment because it seems the only way to actually not be on god mode 24/7
It's a boss weapon. You can get it from the Remembrance of the Unbroken Promise after you beat Harrower Dervla. She's at the bottom of Revelation Depths, below Sunless Skein.
I was grinding through the game just to get all the items for the build. Once I made the build finally I noticed it was doing barely any damage, and now I know that they nerfed it. Very sad
Still works! I just made the build with everything and thought the same had low dmg. But I forgot to +10 the bow. Now after that I shred everything. I finished everything in the game tho just made it for farmin the Red Reaper fast for the last 150 Umbral Scourings for the Platinum. And well the build destroys the red reaper with radiant bolts in like 3-4 shots!^^
@@CursedK1ng Ye same i did radiant ending with Royal Greatsword holy, then umbral with lightsaber and dual lightsaber, and finished adyr with inferno Lords Greatsword build. Now i just wanted a shredder build for the red reaper and this is perfect but as i see this really melts every boss and content.
imagine posting a video of a old build and claiming its yours xD but yes its very strong im surprised it didnt get nerfed yet. the only weakness i found is when there are like 3 of those rock heads. because when you hit them you dont get health back. Full grey bar means no more ammo you have to actualy heal to shoot again and youc an also get oneshot.
I feel like every build for this game has been discovered a week ago not really that much diversity it’s either this build a radiant build with pietas sword or a shit wither build infinite spells umbral build or that same fire build people keep posting with different names nothing really too crazy or interesting which is sad I was really hoping this game wouldn’t be one of those games that’s only fun for two weeks and it is but that’s okay still enjoyed it
Im lvl 106 with 70 agility, missing one ring, added only 3 of the mentioned runes on Jeffrey and im hitting 1k dmg on body and 1.5k headshots with the radiant bolts. Explosive bolts got nerfed not on their dmg but on recovery (before the nerf we would fully healed with one barrage, now of we miss 2 shots we will have 50-60% health). Big guys with the hammer gets down with 3 shots. Also the crossbow should be +10 for the true potential of this build. ( I just don't like that skinstealer spear and im using something with 3 round slots to add in the future extra runes like i have equipped on Jeffrey)

I prefer the piss beam, that thing breaks the whole game. Only drawback is that you need to be somewhat close

Yeah already nerfed i used it and im level 3000+ and the weapon is max level doesn’t do much damage anymore.

Not really broken, there a normal bow you can get that with let you hit for 5k to 6k in co-op. But single player pretty much one shots the bosses
