Funny, I love static x but I actually made with just purely with the original linkin park stems. I wasn’t able to record my own guitars at this stage of learning production so I basically just flipped samples
it was panned hard left in the original song...which was mixed by Andy Wallace. Not a traditional technique but cant switch it after short of cutting every single kick hit into mono.
Low pass filter to take out the top end, lots of reverb to make it sound like its in a large place, and delay to make the multiple repetitions sweep side to side. It's a lot plugins in conjuction with each other
I think at one point it got taken down for copyright. Luckily umg seems to be ok with me remixing their stuff at this point was they restored it and haven’t bugged me on recent content

Keanu Huezo I like ATS, iridescent was beautiful, The Catalyst had some of the greatest synth. Wretches kept their Hip-Hop element and showed that they could keep rapping with any style they choose. And The Messenger was just an amazing goodbye and greatly represented the topic of the album, throughout war and violence and sadness, we ill always stay strong. I think ATS had more meaning than the rest, i'm not saying its better even, though i love all their songs.

I didn't really liked it, but also, i don't "unlike" it, it's good, but i think you could do better things with the "Shut up!" part and also with the "demonic" voice of "Shut up when i am talking to you!", maybe you could build more tension on the music. But it's a great job as always.
Completely agree. This is a reallly old remix back before I even had the ability to record my own guitars and drums so everything was just sample flipping. I will definitely re do this one in the future
