This is the last different video I recorded when I was over at nanos! I hope you all enjoyed it and even If you didn't I appreciate yall giving the videos a chance! more normalish videos to come including a big three idiots video soon!
Me and my bro used to play this every day after school. My favorite memory of this game is that one time I did piccolo's charged uppercut which was just a hellacious rising kick, me and my bro were dumbasses that laughed at anything, and because the kick was a killing blow and I was feeling performative that I tried to replicate that kick to make fun of him and almost broke my neck on a chair behind me.
Bro this game was what my homies would play every sleep over, between this and San Andreas, but Tenkaichi was the hat we played until highschool then we switched to raging blast
This was the BT3 I grew up with. There were so many characters and transformations in this game, it was nuts. Stack up Goku (Mid) with Ki upgrades so you can nuke anything with a fully-charged Spirit Bomb.
This game was basically my life the summer before I started 7th grade. I put so many hours into the wii version that when I tried to play BT4 mod a month ago it took me a LONG time to get used to button controls. Honestly miss this version
This is actually how I heard of and played the Tenkaichi 2 and 3 games and the series in general. I didn't have a Playstation growing up so I had NO idea budokai games even existed. In fact, it wasn't until MANY years after this that I even learned that these games were also on the PS2.
you can play with a wii classic controller... too bad on tenkaichi 2 wii was like ps2, tenkaichi 3 fked up so bad that it's way better playing with wii remote and nunjuck
We used to have tournaments in our neighborhood, in one of the rich kids' garage. He had the whole setup with giant plasma tv and stuff. We had bring our own Wii remotes though. I use to play Super 17 and just absorbed all ki attacks. Miss thoese days man.
I’m playing on the Wii right now. Almost done with the BT2 story, and then I’m hopping right over to 3. I love the Wii. Such a great little console, I have Shattered Dimensions coming this week too haha
This is how i remember playing BT3. I had it on the wii and my brother and i played it for literal years! No other better way to play as a kid who had to charge (an almost realistic) Kamehameha wave. Glad you were able to enjoy it man
I remember playing this on the Wii as a kid. My brother and I would play this on the weekends from school and we sometimes got into fights when one would beat the other. We grew out of that and are pretty chill and I have a big thing about sportsmanship since then(I played football). My favorite 'what if' was Devilman coming out to fight Frieza.
I'm so happy you played this Doto! Honestly I discovered your channel through your Tenkaichi 2 playthrough because I grew up playing that on the Wii!! And here you are playing Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii and it's like this whole thing has gone full circle! You're awesome man! Keep up the great work!!
This was the system i mainly played tenkaichi 3 on. Although i primarily used the classic controller and never nunchuck + wiimote controls. Controls with the classic controller were same song and dance as the ps2.
I remember I finally was able to get this game my sophomore year and loving this game so much that I never even played it with anyone else. None my friends played Wii anymore but it was all I had. My favorite birthday present!
Not me looking right at my copy and getting an itch to play while watching this. This is a great video. Hell, I still got the controls memorized years later
Of course I remember this Doto...I even played it's CRAPPY online, when Wii still had the servers up it was super laggy and also full of cheaters. Man I loved playing this on Wii, I would mimic SSJ2 Gohan's Father and Son Kamehameha with the Turtle hermit gi from the Boujack Unbound movie. When I was a kid I've bought this game because I've started watching DB for the first time after watching Boujack's movie, which was my first interaction ever with the franchise, I dare say I regret nothing of that choice, loved that game like no other
I certainly do; it's how I played Tenkaichi 2 and 3 (the best way as well). It has been odd watching your videos and seeing shape button prompts up and failing the rush and beam struggles (the wii remote waggle made it so easy). 1:30 - An Grandpa Gohan starts things off by wrecking Cell. The DP point system was a neat idea and I'm always happy to see the OG Dragon Ball characters getting the spotlight. 2:54 - It's a simple thing, but just performing the kamehameha motion in the Wii version is pure joy! 4:16 - Awww, was hoping Yajirobe would have been able to get off a Sensu Bean. Healing all that damage would have been hilarious. 6:20 - An a sucker punch as time runs out. How nefarious of the infamous... Frieza's Soldier. 9:28 - Strange; I thought Ghost Kamikaze attack had more tracking than that. I guess not though... that or Yajirbobe is just built different. His speed is on another level. 11:39 - An the Wii Remote shaking commences. Another just pure fun aspect of playing on the Wii! 15:06 - Justice spun itself out of the arena! 18:04 - Incredible reaction time to recover from the missed Assault and block the oncoming High Speed Rush.
FINALLY! Y'all are playing the only version of dbz I played as a kid! God the training arc I put my little sibling through until they were finally able to beat me was glorious! I miss this version.
It's been fun seeing you and Nano do all this crazy stuff together 😆 I've always enjoyed playing this game with the Wii controls cause they feel so satisfying to do special moves
I played this game with a GameCube controller nearly the entire time this game was actively in my life. A very different experience. On Dolphin, I still use them.
This was the game that filled me with buyer remorse concerning the Wii. I had been able to convince myself that it had potential but I was playing this one day and I realised that it was only going to get worse. I think the only games I ever played on it following Tenkaichi were Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.
Legit bought a used Wii last year just to play my old copy of BT3 since it was cheaper than buying the PS2 version (and let me play a bunch of other games to boot). BT3 on Wii still goes crazy, especially with a Gamecube controller!
Yes I do rememeber. I had BT3 on the wii. Got a wireless nunchuck so I could properly do final flash 😂 the combat has so much more depth than what most people think. Fantastic game. Goat of dbz games
This is the last different video I recorded when I was over at nanos! I hope you all enjoyed it and even If you didn't I appreciate yall giving the videos a chance! more normalish videos to come including a big three idiots video soon!
Well I’m definitely enjoying the video so far, also I’m definitely excited to see the big three idiots video.
I have both bt2 and bt3 on the Wii and was wondering if anyone else still played those versions!
@@Zero-bh9onI do
Loved it
Why would I not enjoy watching you two play BT3 the way I played it, the way it's intended. Love the content

Ay bro you did what you had to do to get the win. Got nothing but respect for that!
Bro this game was what my homies would play every sleep over, between this and San Andreas, but Tenkaichi was the hat we played until highschool then we switched to raging blast
Clashing in this game on the Wii was my exercise for the day

This is the bt3 I grew up on!
This that real nostalgic shit right here for me as well!
I don't care what anyone says, the Wii's motion controls definitely enhanced the experience of certain games, and this was definitely one of them.
For sure
Then there's sonic and the secret rings.
"i flew over 70 000 miles throught the air just so i can play this vercion of the game with my friend nano" damn, you really crazy for this games.
Reminder the space station is only about 250 miles away.... Doto really went to Namek for this one!
Doto let out some pent up aggression against Yajirobe. 😄
He got cooked.
The side eye after "i didn't backstep" was gold 😂
Thanks Doto for bringing more love to the Wii version BT3, since that’s the version I played my entire childhood

Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii is the only way you have a chance to beat CPUs in clashes with the help with *Motion Controls*
It's actually fairly easy to beat the 3 CPUS. It's the 2 cpus that you couldn't beat
The trick is to rotate both sticks because it counts as 2 inputs
so glad i never went through that stick destroying beam struggle
I'm so glad he specified "flew 7000 miles through the air" lol I was starting to think he flew through the ground xD
The nostalgia is real with this one. I only played it on the wii as a kid and loved doing kamehameha's with my hands
This was the BT3 I grew up with. There were so many characters and transformations in this game, it was nuts. Stack up Goku (Mid) with Ki upgrades so you can nuke anything with a fully-charged Spirit Bomb.
Nano getting up and leaving was HILARIOUS xD you two are great friends
This is the game that introduced me to db and it will forever have a special place in my heart

Speaking of this version I think it’s the only one to have online battles
Doto letting Nano gain confidence in himself was so endearing. Y’all are the greatest
Man, they should play more wii games. It's really funny watching them flail around with the Wiimotes.
If only the switch did motion controls as well
“I think you’ve had enough”

As totally scuffed as it was to control actually doing the motions to do moves in this was mad fun
Me and my brother were essentially introduced to DBZ with BT3 on the Wii. That started a long lasting love for DBZ and it’s so sick you’re playing it!

Daaamn sounds sick! Envious
Bro, I couldn't even get past Great Ape Vegeta on the Wii when I was like 7. This is Nostalgic as Hell man
Doto shaking the controller looks so weird
The new kind of content honestly is awesome as hell Doto. Honestly you're an og for travelling that far to play games with your friend!

Ah, the preferred way to play BT3. Brings back some memories.
It was actually Doto’s old videos on the Wii version of this game that brought me to stick it out with this channel. Funniest man alive!

Hi btw I love your videos
Howdy!
Hello there.
Hallo
These Nano and Doto collabs make my year. Thanks guys.
So this is doto!!!!!!
that reaction from nano to "want to make a mii?" actually made me augh so damn hard.
I remember i got this game when it first came out and that night a storm passed by. Lighting stuck the house, fried the tv and our Wii. Sad times
I played this game with a GameCube controller nearly the entire time this game was actively in my life. A very different experience. On Dolphin, I still use them.
This was the one I played as a kid. Pulling out the poses was hype af
This version is my childhood, and, for me, the ultimate way to play BT3
can't tell if nano is legit mad as hell or its just a bit
It's the strangest thing in the world to see Doto so less animated than his voice would lead you to believe
This is my childhood here!! Best experience growing up playing BT3 on the Wii
Doto cookin’ as always
For the curious that specific Frieza Soldier's name is Banan.
5:04 Cell Junior probably had that thousand yard stare watching that solar kamehameha fly at him
Doto telling off Nano on using that 'evasive skill' that takes off a health bar is the epitome of hypocrisy.
Blast stock moves are usually an up arrow and shaking the wii like a windshield wiper I think, but it's been a while
Seeing doto actually kick arse is a wild and rare thing to see ma brutha.
This was the game that filled me with buyer remorse concerning the Wii. I had been able to convince myself that it had potential but I was playing this one day and I realised that it was only going to get worse.
I think the only games I ever played on it following Tenkaichi were Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.
I was doing my best to avoid seeing what he looks like but, now its too late.
Ofc i remember this this was my MAIN WAY OF PLAYING BT3 BACK THEN
Legit bought a used Wii last year just to play my old copy of BT3 since it was cheaper than buying the PS2 version (and let me play a bunch of other games to boot). BT3 on Wii still goes crazy, especially with a Gamecube controller!
He walked out the room, came back to get PERFECTED 😂😭 BRO
"No super sayian that's cheating " is such a goten thing to say
Doto looks so much like a friend I had back in high school that I have to do a double take whenever I see his face.
Man the wii version was the first one I played. So many good memories
I remember seeing the Wii version of BT3 at GameStop a few times, but I always bought the PS2 version of BT3.
Nano just catching a hail of fists: why aren't I doing damage?
Yes. YES. This is BT3 as i remember! When i would get into beam clashes with friends, i. Never. *LOST*
“YOU PLAY YAJIROBE IN THIS HOUSE, YOU GETTING YOUR ASS BEAT EVERY DAY!”
I haven’t seen a game on the Wii since I turned 8, glad to know it’s still possible to play on
I owned both bt2 and bt3 on the Wii. Played those games almost everyday
Good times
when i clicked on the video i thought doto was gonna say ''WITH THE RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS OF DRAGON BALL BUDOKAI TENKAICHI-''
Yes I do rememeber. I had BT3 on the wii. Got a wireless nunchuck so I could properly do final flash 😂 the combat has so much more depth than what most people think. Fantastic game. Goat of dbz games
My twin and I played this so much when we were kids. Gogeta SSJ4 the GOAT
That's why there's a possibility for Sparking Zero to drop on the Switch's successor lol
This game was my first introduction to omega shenron and future gohan played this every night after school
6:44 Nintendo once again trying to rob you from every cent you have.
