Your palettes are so well loved. I have had palettes for years and look new. I want my eyeshadow palettes to look used. Your Pat McGrath palettes are my goals. You have inspired me to use mine as daily palettes instead of just special occasion palettes. I can throw a shade all over my lid and call it a day.
First, always aspire to think that your make-up can been worn any day of the week, even when staying at home. If you put it away for special occasions, what's the point of spending all that money on it? If you're in love with the packaging, just keep it after using the make-up inside. One thing you should always do is to keep your palettes clean. When you end up with pigment flying around an expensive palette, it will infringe on the other shades which will then not perform as nicely. Having a clean palette only adds to the beauty of what you own and will continue to make you proud of what you've got. I'm recovering from a serious illness and a arm broken in three places! Make-up has been my salvation, even when I can't go out and stuck at home. I own some of the most stunningly beautiful palettes from luxury brands, yet will use these as much as my gorgeous Lethal Cosmetics palettes made from cardboard. It's how we feel when using make-up that is the important factor and can make the world of difference. It sure has helped me with my recovery both physically and mentally. Never let your collection sit alone looking pretty, get into using it all and tell yourself that you deserve it all.🇦🇺💖

I picked up the Nars Climax palette a few weeks ago from Asos for 21 pounds, was such a steal and it's soooooo gooooood! I was holding off for so long because of the price to be honest but I'm so glad I have it now!

Moonlit seduction is by far my fave Pat palette too, & I agree with everything you said about the special shades & if I could change one thing it would be putting that transition shade from subliminal in instead of one of those other mid tone mattes ❤️❤️❤️

A beautiful and well-loved collection. I hope you don't mind the feedback, but a quick wipe of the palette mirrors and edges would add to the quality of the video, especially because they are high-end products. Otherwise, really loving your content!

Congratulations on having the will power to cut down! I did this when moving a number of years back and tossed out most of my make-up so I could build it into a collection that made me happy to use. Last year I became very ill and then broke my predominant arm in three places! I've been stuck at home recovering but luckily, make-up has helped tremendously with my rehabilitation. It's brought a smile when a new item arrived but helped me physically when applying it again, even if I'm not going anywhere. I've definitely built up a beautiful collection but it's stopping that's the hardest. Just as well that I'm not interested in most of the Holiday Collections, which I simply don't need anyway. It's enjoyable enough to watch the collections of others and not regretting my decisions not to buy, only occasionally.😉🇦🇺💖
@@Lovelyasdfghjkl i don’t mind, okay maybe i didn’t have that much of a big collection, but it was a lot for me because i just suddenly got 10 palettes in one month.
i’m a minimalist at heart and even though I love makeup, I didn’t like that I would never use up all of the eyeshadows. I’d rather have a few things that I find lovely and special to me.
I bought one bigger magnetic palette and depotted the shades I like the most. The rest I gave to my hoarder friend and I’m gonna sell the other palettes.

it also helps me sometimes to distract myself when I’m sad, and I’m the same with declutter videos. It’s just very enjoyable for the eyes to see that many palettes, especially if the packaging is good

I nearly purchased Divine Rose this week in the July 4th sale but glad I didn’t if glam & retro offer the same vibes, I'd like Moonlit next. Retro is top on my wish list. I'm hoping for Black Friday sales. I love Viseart Cashmerie, along with all my Viseart palletes. When palletes come out, EVERYONE has a video on them, and often you never hear about them again, like Cashmerie. Retro stays in the spotlight, so I know it's good. And the color story is totally me. Why I'm waiting for a sale on Retro, but bought the Dream pallete right away, I don't know. 🤔

Not sure if you have the kaleidos cold brew quad (same lay out as the new purple and blue ones) but I wasn’t able to get a hold of the TF metal lust (😭😭😭) and have found that the kaleidos cold brew, based on swatches and looks that people have done, looks like a pretty decent dupe- neutral and every so slightly leaning cool toned glam vibes. Retails $22. Just an fyi to maybe mention…I know so many were seeking that limited TF quad. 😊 ps…I watch all your videos and you are amazing and SO inspiring. I’m wanting to comment more ❤️

This was fun! If I am being honest with myself, my top 10 would probably consist of a mix of PMG and ND, and my one outlier would be Tiny Marvels since I just love the colour story so much! I am not surprised with your choices and think that overall this would be a very well-rounded collection!

My goodness! I don't know how you did it! I couldn't even whittle mine down to a top 20. My problem is that I love every single palette I own, including the Lethal Multichrome palettes that I've put together. My Lethal palettes alone, or just the Dior Quints would take more than ten places each. I definitely agree that the ND Retro & Glam palettes are almost a necessity and hope to grab some Midi's in the next Sephora Sale. Although, I have no intention of buying every Pat McGrath Mothership, I do like No.1 through to 6 & 10, yet only when reduced and I can afford to buy. I'm surprised I made it through the video as I have a strict policy of keeping my palettes squeaky clean. I love that you are enjoying using yours, but for the sake of my sanity, do you think you could wipe yours down after using them? Just kidding, only so used to seeing all those palettes of other content creators who show palettes that we can see have hardly been touched despite them claiming they grab for them all the time. Yours is the first Mothership that I've ever witnessed the bottom of the pan. No.1 is the best palette in my opinion, the most wearable and the first I'd ever buy. Pat McGrath is making it very hard for those wishing to buy the Holiday Collection from overseas by dropping only a few products at a time. Personally, I think it's a bad move doing this. Imagine how many parcels you'd have all taking about 6wks each all attempting to reach the one address. They have a hard enough time just getting a single parcel to me! Your top ten were a well thought out and lovely selection.🇦🇺💖🕊
Moonlit Seduction was my first (and currently only) Mothership and it’s definitely a standout in my collection already. It pairs perfectly with my other favorite, the Rose Quartz palette from Athr Beauty.
I’m considering Moonlight Seduction as my first PM Mothership palette, it’s beautiful… BUT… I just fell in love with MIII Subversive . I think that is THE ONE for me. Please tell me that the shadows are not chunky… I need to know before I get married 😂 (sorry for my English) I really love your channel and I learn a lot with your techniques and advice ❤ Love

I would have in my top ten grungy mustard & greens. I love those grungy poopy yellows & green shades. I would have to add a palette like the Melt Cosmetics Gemini palette for the Grungy matte shades. I don’t necessarily need the shimmers. I want the mattes.

I bought both of PMG Holiday Palettes from the last two years but was quite disappointed with this one just released. I liked them for the colourful shimmers and didn't need all those vibrant coloured mattes. Most of the shimmers now are gold toned with only a few exceptions. I much preferred the five pan palettes but already have these shades. I expect something special with Holiday releases which I just didn't feel with PMG this year.💖
@@krisushi1 I like the idea of all of that color, but without colorful shimmers, the colorful mattes feel out of place. It would make a good companion palette to someone who has all of the Motherships but not on it’s own, which seems like a problem. Seems like a mistake to not release the whole collection at once because it seems like it would have sold better that way. I’m worried this collection is going to tank and we’re going to get nothing but pinks and golds until the end of time 😩

I have all Pat McGrath's big mothership palettes and most of the others I'm missing just a few small ones. An moonlit seduction palette let me down so badly. It just wasn't what I thought it would be I've never been let down before by her. So I'm shocked you love it maybe I gotta give it another chance.

This would be sooooo hard for me to choose between all my babies!! Your picks are some of my favorites too! Mine would be Pat McGrath Subliminal, PM Celestial Divinity ( for all the shimmer shades) PM Subversive, PM Bronze Seduction, Natasha Denona Metropolis, Natasha Denona Biba, Adept Amunet Nu and Adept Heather Austin ( for all the multichromes) Glaminatrix Nearly Natural, Kaleidos Club Nebula.
I'm sure my 10 will change when I go thru my collection but for now this is what I would take. Half nuetral and half colorful with multichrome palettes for that extra oomph when i want it. Adept is coming out with a new palette and I can't wait cuz it looks more like nuetral tone multichromes!

Ohh yes and it would be my top 10 as well but take out the PML subliminal with a cheap basic Juvias place palette I have ( it’s a neutral brown color scheme ) green cover and I would be set ,) I have yet to open my PML Midnight Sun and purchased it a good year ago never touched…. I have been waiting for fall and I can finally open it YAY !! So excited ,)

I'm surprised you chose 2 quads. I understand one quad for packing easy reliable makeup, but I almost don't count quads as palettes (they usually can only do one or two looks) so I would choose something with more eyeshadows! I think the Isamaya palette has the most pans out of your picks - you seem to like smaller palettes in general.
